Hello- We recently spent 5 days at the resort and had a wonderful time! The service, food and activities were truly wonderful. Your staff is sensational - especially Ms. Bertha, who took care of our room. I have recommended the resort to many friends and know several who are planning a visit. I would like to request some information. While there, we ate at LaVeranda, which served a wonderful white wine. I asked the waiter to see the bottle, which he did, and the only thing I can remember were the words "VIN" on a beige label. He said it was from Spain. I have been trying to locate this wine here, but no one is familiar with it. Brenda Cames

My sisters and I stayed at the resort July 8th to July 12th and had the best vacation ever! Everyone was super nice and were always making sure we were happy and had everything we needed or wanted. We made quite a few friends, both Ricardos in La Veranda, Juan at the outside bars, Fernando from the karaoke bar, and our maid was excellent. The place was gorgeous and we constantly saw employees doing all they could to keep everything beautiful for the guests. The only complaints we had were that the gym could have used some modern equipment and the karaoke bar could have been open slightly later. Other than that everyone was wonderful. I can’t stop talking about our time there to my friends and co-workers and even talked one of my clients into going there next year on her anniversary. We had a great time and hope to come back soon. Thank you Jessica LaMance QA Supervisor

My husband and I have been home for a week after spending 8 GLORIOUS days at El Cozumeleno. Everything at the resort was 5 star. In fact we loved it their so much we are presently trying to find time in our crazy schedules to go back, ASAP! A very special thank you to Benjamin and all of the waiters both at the El Cocal and La Veranda. Benjamin your the best! The food was wonderful and the Spanish wine....nothing like it anywhere else. Once again thanks everyone for all your hard work; it made our stay there unbelievable. Cynthia and Stuart Ramsey

My sister and I were at your hotel on May 7 to the 12 and let me thank you guys for such a wonderfull place and for such great staff, specially Geronimo, he sure knows how to make your guess feel welcome. We had such a great time that we can not wait to go back hopefully really soon. I have talked to my friends and coworkers about your hotel and now they are making reservations for their next vacations. Thank you for all your hard work. Flor Garcia

Hello Sir: My husband and I just returned from your beautiful hotel today, after a 5 night stay. We loved every single minute of our stay there, and cannot wait to return. We were needing a getaway so very much, and were really struggling with which hotel to book, when we decided on El Cozumeleno. Your entire staff was so very polite and friendly, and everyone went out of their way to be respectful. The food was delightful, and we were very impressed by the upkeep of the entire property. We always felt very safe there, and we were never afraid to leave anything in our room, etc. We have traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya, Huatulco, Ixtapa, and we were next door at El Melia for our honeymoon 12 years ago. While it was nice then, we are very glad we did not book there for this trip--the water is not nearly as pretty there. This has been our favorite place of all, and we will be back! Again thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant. Joe and Sherrie Sparger Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Stayed 6/18 - 6/23

Hey we were at your beautiful resort from April 30th until May 7th and to this day we wish we were there. We were known as THE CANADIANS lol, it was me, my girlfriend Tanya, and our friends Matt and April and we all had an amazing time. We walked in and were greeted with drinks which made the day of traveling worth it. The whole staff from top to bottom were awesome. From Philippe Fournier (on te vera encore) one of the managers to the entire staff working there. We must really thank the activities team because they did a great job. Artura, Luis, Geronimo, senoritas Kenia & Abril and the rest of the team, you guys were awesome. Whenever we wanted to do something they tried their best to help us play(usually pool or beach volleyball). And Arturo rrar rarr rarr....You were hilarious and took us on a fun bike trip. Luis was the best DJ, sorry Geronimo...But Geronimo, Kenia and Abril you guys did a great job with the different activities. The wait staff and bell boys were really nice and helpful. All in all we loved our trip. The food was good, the drinks were great and the resort was just amazing. Thank you everyone there and we hope to see you guys again. Josh Tellier

Hello, my husband Leroy and I, along with 6 of our friends and family stayed at ElCozumeleno May 19th thru May 24th, 2008. If someone told me I could leave today, I'd be packed in an hour. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! We've already decided we'll be staying at your establishment again in the future. The service was exemplary, the facility was spotless, the food was delicious and the beach and water were beautiful. I'm so glad we stayed there. I do believe this was the best vacation I've ever been on. Thanks and see you in the future!!! Leigh Ann and Leroy Falter Freeburg, Missouri

Thank you for everything. We will see you again real soon. Allen and Darlene Morgan “Morgy” April 15th to the 24th My wife and I have just returned from 10 “Glorious” days at the Elcozumeleno Beach Resort and I have to tell you that we miss it already. We go to Cozumel every April and September and honestly the Elcozumeleno just keeps getting better every time we stay there. Honestly, the staff and Management always makes us feel welcome just as we would feel coming “Home to Family”, from the warm welcome we received our first day there, to the hugs and handshakes the day we had to leave. Always a friendly smile and a hola’ from everyone. Thank you to “all” that made our stay so special. The managers there really take pride in their resort. I have noticed they work from sun up to sun down, and sometimes beyond, constantly pacing the grounds to ensure that every guest has a memorable stay, and it shows. I would like to add a few travelers notes to pass along some of the changes I have noticed since our last stay. We have always found the food here to be just fine. There is such a large variety that we sometimes have a hard time deciding on just what we want. I have found there are a few things on the menu that I don’t care for, but there is always plenty of other choices to put together a well balanced meal. Among the huge selection during the day, they have added a cooler on the pool patio that is stocked with fresh made hoagie sandwiches and salads. They have added menus for all the tables in case you can’t find anything on the buffet or what is being cooked daily on the grill that appeals to you. They have even added two new Hot Cheese pumps to cover the high demand for Nachos and cheese. They also have a self serve soda and ice cream bar which has been lowered so the kids can use it.. This is good news for all the moms. Relaxing by the pool all day without having to serve the kids. Priceless… :o) In the past there was always a concern that there were not enough lounge chairs to go around. This is not the case anymore. More have been add since we were there last. While I was enjoying my coffee on a morning stroll I actually counted all the lounge chairs on the property. (I know, but somebody had to do it..heh…heh). Between the main pool, the covered pool, the small pool, under the palapas and all along the beach…350 lounge chairs! That’s not counting the tables and chairs around the small pool or the hammocks under the two shelters on the beach. That’s a lot of chairs. In fact there is simply no room for anymore. I did ask why there are only a few palapas on the beach (11), and the answer made sense. It would block the beautiful ocean view that everyone enjoys while eating in the restaurant….Especially at sundown….BEAUTIFUL ! In all honesty, what makes this hotel the perfect choice is that everything you need is right there. Although I do encourage you to rent a car to drive around the island, and make sure you go downtown for plenty of shopping. You can rent you car and book all your excursions right at the hotel. Some of the boats will pick you up right there as well. Great snorkeling right at the hotel but for you non-divers I recommend visiting the dive shop and booking a snorkeling tour. The reefs are truly awesome. Also if you are interested in diving….which I also recommend…sign up for their free one hour course at the dive shop as well. I could go on forever listing why this is the perfect choice for us. But all in all I think the doorman said it best when I first walked in the door…Big Smile….Firm handshake and he said to me “Welcome Home”….. If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at…morgy@comcast.net. I’m always happy to help if I can. OR We’ll see you down there in September. Allen & Darlene Morgan AKA “Morgy” Clermont, Fl.

I just wanted to write a quick note to say our vacation more than exceeded my greatest expectations! This was our first time to see the ocean and it was the most awesome experience! Everything was just wonderful; the food; the service; the hospitality; the resort as a whole!! I am already planning a girls trip in the fall and another family trip next spring/summer! We cant wait to come back. Renee Prewett, Texas May 5-9, 2008

We just returned from a week stay at the El Coz. This was our 8th stay there and we again, enjoyed it! The grounds were well kept, service in all areas was very good, and the bird problems are getting better!. Would like to see a better variety of food in the outside restaurant & snack bar. Mr. Don Hose...."Pepe" the piano player in the main restaurant, was as always, very appeasing, tip him well. The front desk staff and Manager went out of their way to accomodate us. We call the El Coz our home away from home. Special thanks to chef Angel, the best fish tacos ever. The Capitan, Carlos was also very kind, and that loco waiter Jose, kept us in stitches. There are many kind folks there, we love them all. Claude & Kathy Dill Concord,North Carolina

My best friend and I just got back from this place I dubbed as "my own paradise!" We had such a wonderful time and that is because this hotel and its staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and most of all very helpful! You made both of us feel at home. This resort is by far the best place in Cozumel. The food, entertainment, and especially the snorkeling area have to be the best on the island! Thanks El Cozumeleno for making our vacation one to remember! Sincerely, Christi & Amber

Well, we have been home for a couple weeks after spending 10 wonderful, fun filled days at the El Cozumeleno Beach Resort, and we are ready to go back! The purpose of our trip was to get married, and we did that, as well as so much more! All of our guests for the wedding (36 people) really enjoyed themselves, which was wonderful considering I had basically picked their vacation for them! I would like to give an extra special THANK YOU to Mirabel, our group/wedding coordinator--she did an exceptional job working with us during the time leading up to the wedding, as well as when we were finally in Mexico! I must also thank the other group specialists that we worked with along the way: Genny, Adela, and Elva. Our wedding was absolutely wonderful, and I would do it the same way 100 times over! They are so organized and accomodating for what I was imagining my wedding day to be. One thing I would recommend if you are planning a wedding down there--ask specifics about the ceremony. This is something my husband and I had not done, and we were a little confused as the ceremony progressed. All the paperwork is completed first (bride and groom signing, 4 witnesses signing, legalities of being married in Mexico), THEN is the exchange of vows. Have your own vows prepared because they just ask if you take each other to be husband and wife, basically the "I do" part. The judge does give a blessing or homily as well. This is another person I would like to thank! I never got to shake his hand, introduce myself, or thank him! After the ceremony he was out of there pretty fast, so if you could pass on our thanks to him! Now for the wonderful stay and staff at El Coz! It started from the moment we walked through the front door with Isaisas, the Bell Boy, eagerly loading up our plethera of bags and waiting for us to get checked in. He was all smiles and so friendly--my husband was visiting him throughout the time we stayed there, he liked him so much! At the front desk for check-in, Brigido was very helpful and again so friendly as we got everything in order for our stay, as well as the other guests that would be arriving that day. Each morning that we had guests arriving, we would stop by the front desk and with Isaisas, to let them know which ones to be expecting, and they all were so great about making sure our guests would feel comfortable! The maid service on our floor by Manuela was great! She was always leaving cute little towel sculptures, or things made from flower petals for us. Always so friendly, and filling any request that we may have--and much like every employee we made contact with, ALWAYS smiling! All of the people that worked at the activities counter were great, but I would like to give a special thanks to Erwin for his work and help with the music for our wedding ceremony! Everything was cued right on time, it was plenty loud enough for people to hear, and being able to play the music we had chosen for our wedding day made it that much more special! While we did a lot of different things during our stay in Cozumel, most of our time was spent poolside with family and friends, enjoying the water, sun, fun, and company. All of the servers and bartenders were great to us, and there were a few that were exceptional! Thank you all (Noemi, Miguel, Jose, Fabian, Ezequiel) so much for your hard work in keeping up with our drinking, eating, spilling, moving, and all around rowdiness! I would like to mention special thanks to Miguel for his hard work at our wedding ceremony (he even helped with a few pictures!), as well as throughout the rest of the week! The staff at La Veranda was great as well! We had Fernando as our server most nights we were there, but all of the servers and hosts were wonderful. We would like to express an extra special Thank you to all of those that worked with our group on the night of the wedding! It was a big (and rowdy) group to serve, and everyone did an excellent job! We were so sad to have to leave, and wish that we could make more trips to El Coz than we will be able to, but be ready for us in 5 years because the whole group will be coming back! Thank You to everyone at El Cozumeleno for making our wedding/vacation an unforgettable event! Much Love from the Wagners! Mel and Bert

We all had a great time once again. The new couple that went with us were thrilled with the hotel, and can't stop telling people here about it and how well they were treated. They are hoping to return in November this year with other friends. My son as well is getting married in October , and as of now is also hoping to return to the Cozumeleno for his honeymoon. Are you open in October?. What is so nice about the hotel is the fact that so many of your friendly staff have been there for such a long time and obviously enjoy the hotel. The Veranda Restaurant was superb, the food and service!! All the little things that have changed since the hurricane a couple of years ago really make a nice difference. If I might add one suggestion that would really improve the hotel, please put the small mini-fridges in the tower rooms as you have done in the older section upgraded rooms. This would be a huge convenience for a lot of guests, and I don't think anyone would mind paying an extra small charge for the service. See you soon Thanks again Ray

I absolutely loved the El Cozumeleno resort! We had a girls only vacation and it could not have turned out any more perfect. I have already begun to refer my friends and family to your resort and I plan on visiting again sometime real soon! Your staff was absolutely wonderful! Everybody was always so happy and helpful, I wish I could have brought you all home with me! haha! Special thanks goes to Geronimo, the best DJ around! He was always so nice and polite. Your food and drink accommodations were second to none and the beach was absolutely amazing!! Room and maid service were also impeccable. I do regret only one thing, I never had a chance to have your cheesecake!! There's always next time, though! Thanks again, so much, for a wonderful time!!

Hola..from Cape Cod, MA. My husband, 12 year old daughter Sophia and myself stayed at El Coz April 15 through April 22…We had a blast! We met hardworking, beautiful employees and met some great guests from all over….I was so impressed by the constant care of the resort and the way they treated the guests. (us included) Our room overlooked the pool from the south tower. We took a day and a half (rented a car) to tour the island. I highly recommend this as we saw many different people and were able to drive the whole island and see it all !!! It was gorgeous!!! We miss our bartenders and wait staff. Cannot wait to visit again next year. Thanks for having us and we look forward to our trip in 2009! Maureen, Andy and Sophia. Maureen Hall

Just a short note of appreciation for the wonderful time that my friend and I had at your hotel during our stay in Cozumel. The hotel rooms were large and comfortable, the view from our balcony was incredible (room 1415) and the food was excellent. Your hotel is very clean and the property was kept in immaculate shape. Please pass on my thanks to the following people who made our stay very, very enjoyable: Fredrico - our Bell Boy who I chatted with several times during the week I was there. Anna - our Maid who was always smiling every single time that I saw her. Candy - the bartender at the lobby bar and the disco. We enjoyed talking to him about his life outside of work. Pedro - the "Waiter Captain" who handled reservations at La Veranda and joked with us and made us laugh often. This was my first time at your hotel and I can assure you that it won't be my last. Well done, sir!! Gracias, John Parr Washago, Ontario, Canada.

We just arrived home from our 2/8/08 to 2/15/08 trip from El Cozumeleno Hotel in the beautiful Cozumel. It was my husbands first trip outside the states and he could not have been more impressed with the island and the hotel. We found the hotel extremely clean, it seemed the staff was cleaning at all hours. We got by with the food, found something to eat each morning and afternoon. Ate at La Veranda a number of nights, which was top notch. Wished we would have eaten at the buffet italian night and mexican night. We were satisfied with the variety. They also had good snacks when we arrived home late at night (I guess that would be morning!).The pool area was our staple and we had fun and enjoyed how nice it was. We had a wonderful waiter at the pool, please let "ALDO" know he is a great guy!!! We also enjoyed the company of our other waiter "ANGEL". We rented a jeep from the hotel and it was a great idea and experience. We are already discussing returning to your fine hotel. Our compliments to your staff. We would recommend your hotel to anyone going to Cozumel.....thanks again Andy and Nichol Smith from Minnesota! Andy and Nichol Smith

Hola, We stayed at the hotel from 01/19 trough 01/26/08. The best thing about our stay was the hotel and the views from the balcony. The food was great though it could have more variety. The staff was friendly. If you are a pool person this hotel is for you. If you are a beach person- there are rocks and going into the sea can be dangerous. We would suggest to buy water socks. We liked to get some stale bread from the staff and feed the fish from the pier. Snorkeling and kayaking was great too. We also liked Russel and Geronimo from the staff. We would recommend the jeep tour and the Fury boat snorkeling trip. Thank you for everything!

Here is my review of your resort.......We just returned home on Feb.1/08 after a week in paradise! There was 13 of us in our group, 3 children(10,11,12) ,2 young men(22,24), 6 of us 40 somethings and 2 grammies(age undisclosed, lol). Upon arrival we all found our rooms to be very spacious with quite the nice view. Most of us stayed in the newer South Tower. The rooms are a liitle smaller than the North Tower but the view is of the pool bar area and the walk to get to the "happening" side of the resort is much less. The Grammies in our group loved this aspect as they don't quite get around as well as they used to. The beds in the rooms are very hard. The ladies in our group did not like that at all but found if you "borrow" a louge chair cushion and put it on the bed it helped somewhat. The food at the buffet outdoor restaurant is okay. The selection is good but the containers used to hold the food are hard to work with. We found breakfast to be the best. For lunch what most of us did after the 1st day was to order food from the menu cards on the table. The clubhouse sandwich, burgers, fajitas and soups were all excellent. For dinner the gem of the resort is the fancy La Veranda restaurant. It's fine dining at its best. There is a dress code(pants and closed toed shoes for men). The service, presentation and food were all excellent. We ate there 5 of the 7 nights. It does take about 1.5 hrs for dinner to be complete but if you are not in a hurry, it's the way to go. The resort also has room service til 11pm. They bring that late night snack in about 15mins. Some of our group liked the room service for breakfast. Try the french toast,it's the best! The night life on the resort is very tame. There were 2 or 3 shows that were over very early. The disco was fun but not like in town. Our young men in the group would've like a little more action going on but after drinking all day in the sun most of our group hit the sack by 10pm. The gym equipment is in need of replacement or atleast maintenance. My wife found stuff to be loose and somewhat dangerous so use with care. The min-putt course on the resort was lots of fun. Very challenging at 1st but most of us are professionals now! The snorkelling at the pier was beyond belief. I've snorkelled at reefs before and this was almost as good. We borrowed the equipment from the dive shop(1hr usage, decent equipment) and went out daily. It's best if you can get someone to throw bread or chunks of banana in the water around you. The amount of fish there will amaze you! The side of the resort where the mini-putt course is very quiet. Nice spot to catch a little afternoon nap or if you just want to read w/o being bothered. The pool bar side of the resort is the place to hang out. We met a whole bunch of great people from Minnesota, Iowa & Wisconsin. Didn't see very many Europeans on this resort at all. The drinks served at all the bars we very tasty but not overly filled with alcohol. They actually use a shot glass to make their drinks. I've never seen that done before at an all inclusive resort. They have premium brands too! The Crown Royal seems to "run out" a lot quicker than the other brands but maybe that's becuase we drank too much :) What made this resort 1 of our favorite spots was the workers!!! They were very friendly, very attentive and their English was outstanding.....In closing I think we all would recommend this resort especially if you have children under 12 or if you older in age but not in spirit!!!.....Carmen and Randy Archibald & Amigos....Windsor,Ontario,Canada

Hola Amigo's.......My name is Heath Beeman and I am Shannon's brother from the wedding last week. My trip to Mexico was wonderful thanks to your staff and beautiful hotel. In my country I am the General Manager of a very famous Mexican Restaurant called "The Original Ninfa's On Navigation" so I know the value and importance of great service. Which is exactly what I received there at the El Cozumeleno Resort, everyone was so nice and I noticed that all the time someone is cleaning or working on the hotel to keep it beautiful. Overall I am so impressed I have told so many friends and customers of mine that they must visit this hotel because of my experience there. My sisters wedding was beautiful, I will be back many times in the years to come!! There was also some employees I want to mention in this email because they where so awesome!!! Geronimo, this guy was the best truly great he was so nice to the guest and always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves he is a treasure to your hotel. Mateo at the bar by the buffet is always smiling, good guy. Isaacs the bell boy at the front door he is also wonderful, so nice every time I got on the elevator he said hi and how was I doing? Really great!! Anyways please accept my sincere thanks for everything and know that I will be back and I will tell everyone how great you are!! Please tell Geronimo I said hi and thanks for being so nice to my family.

We had a wonderful time at your hotel. I just wanted you to know how very much we enjoyed our stay. I can't say enough about how good your food, rooms, staff and facilities were. Such a beautiful Island.....so much to enjoy, I highly recommend it to everyone!

I recently stayed at your hotel checking in December 21st and checking out Christmas Day December 25th. First of all I would like to commend you on the way you run your hotel. The accommodations were excellent, roomy, and clean. The service was exceptional, courteous and friendly. The food was plentiful, tasty and rivaling only the best buffets on the island. I was pleased you had a room for me and my cousin Kenneth Rietema under whose name the room was registered. Your hotel is the fifth resort I have stayed at on the Island and am certain of repeat business based upon this past stay. I also intend to recommend your hotel to my family with whom I travel frequently. Perhaps you can expect us already this April which is my nephew and nieces Spring Break from school. Thank you for a pleasant time.

I just want to say that the ElCozumeleno is the best. This was our third time there and it is the most beautiful place there is. We went with three other couples and had the time of our life. We were very glad to have the swim up bar open this year. We had a blast spending an evening there. I think that all the workers at the ElCozumeleno deserve a pat on the back, every single employee was awesome, friendly and always willing to help in any way. The Resort is beautiful and clean, and it is one of the most relaxing resorts. To anyone going for the first time, be sure to rent a jeep and check out the other side of the Island. Beware of Coconuts, the blue tequila can lead you to laying face down in the sand!!!! We will definately go back to our favorite vacation spot. Thanks again for a wonderful week. WE RECENTLY STAYED AT YOUR HOTEL, DATES OCTOBER 14-19, 2007, ROOM 1709. WE HAD A PERFECTLY WONDERFUL TIME AND WOULD LIKE TO MENTION A FEW OF THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR STAY SO PERFECT: MARTHA AT THE FRONT DESK JOSE - BELLMAN KELLY - CHEF PIANO PLAYER IN DINING ROOM ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES TEAM AND, ANA, THE GUEST SERVICES CLERK WE REALIZE THAT WE ARE NOT IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH EVERYONE THAT MAKES YOUR HOTEL SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO VACATION. WE KNOW THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES WHOM WE NEVER SEE BUT WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR APPRECIATION TO THEM AS WELL. THE ABOVE PEOPLE WE DID MENTION ALWAYS REMEMBER US WHEN WE ARRIVE. THAT IS A VERY GOOD FEELING AND MAKES US FEEL WELCOME, AS THOUGH THE EL COZUMELENO IS OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. THE ACTIVITIES NIGHTS ARE AWESOME! WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MEXICAN NIGHT, INTERNATIONAL NIGHT AND CARRIBEAN NIGHT. WE APPRECIATE ALL THE HARD WORK AND TALENT THAT GOES INTO MAKING SUCH EVENTS AVAILABLE TO US. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK IN FEBRUARY OR MARCH OF 2008.

Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon at El Cozumeleno! We were there for 5 days and enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was all so nice, the hotel was picture perfect! The food was great, and boy was there a lot of it! The bartenders were great, and they sure can make a mean martini! Cozumel was so beautiful, serene and there was so much to do! If we ever come back, we are staying at El Cozumeleno for sure!

Fantastic Experience, our entire week at ElCozumeleno was absolutely fabulous! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would go back over and over. The staff is excellent and the entire grounds are beautiful. The food was good and the drinks, well to say the least, just kept on coming. If they were watered down as some have indicated, then I must feel pretty good on water! We had a marvelous time and can't wait to go back again and again. And also the best snorkeling on the north end of the island! We compared notes with others at the airport when we were leaving and we had the best of all worlds! Thanks to all the staff and Jose, you are the best! Lila McCarty and Garry Cain .

“Another Wonderful Stay at the ElCozumeleno” Sept 3rd –12th My wife and I travel to Cozumel twice a year, (September and April) and have truly found a second home at the ElCozumeleno. First of all I would like to thank three of the managers….Mr. Lorenzo, Mr. Philippe Fournier, and Mrs. Rosa for their tireless round the clock efforts to make everyone’s stay at this resort a memorable experience…It’s great to see that they will take the time out of their busy schedule to listen to the guest compliments , as well as their concerns, so that they can stay ahead of anything that would make the guest more comfortable on their visit. I wish I had a list of “All” the employee’s names that keep this place running so smoothly so I could thank all of them personally. The service and friendliness is second to none and they really make you feel welcome. Thanks Everyone ! It seems every time I visit, there is always something new. They now have free internet and wireless internet services available in the lobby. It sure was great keeping in touch with my friends back in the states while I was there….Giving them updates of current events as well as what a great time I was having and what to expect when they arrived. I happened to get up early one morning….which I seldom do, and couldn’t believe they had everything set up in the lobby for a great continental breakfast….Nice Touch for the early risers ! It was nice to grab a light snack with some coffee to take with me on my quiet morning stroll along the beach, or having that first cup of coffee overlooking the beautiful Mexican Caribbean….Priceless ! I thought the food was great at the buffet….In fact my wife and I gained 10 pounds while we were there, so you know we were never hungry. True there may be a few items that you may not care for, but all in all the buffet has definitely stepped up to restaurant quality and not just the same old AI food anymore. Here’s a tip. During the day you have “Four” options for your meals. You can eat from the buffet, or have some favorite foods from the snack bar, such as Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Fries, Onion rings, Nachos, ect. ect…or check out what they are cooking on the grill. Sometimes it’s the greatest fajitas you’ll ever have…or it can be the day they prepare the absolutely awesome Mahi. Now here’s the option that most people miss. Anytime during lunchtime right up until they close, there is a full menu available if nothing else suites your cravings, that will be prepared to your order. Simply check out the board at the entrance to the buffet, ask your waiter for it, or call for room service. Same thing at dinner when yet another option is added. You may choose to go to the restaurant inside, but you have to make reservations for this. Over by the Activities Center, they have a Large game room, an ample fitness room, there’s a machine where you can purchase phone cards, baby sitting services as well as a large pool with a waterfall that is covered by a large doom so you can get out of the hot sun as well as go in and relax on those days that there is inclement weather in the area. Just around the corner is the Dive shop. Make sure you go in and say Hi….. Antonio and his staff are a great bunch of guys that will hook you up with all of your excursions. Some of the boats will pick you up right at the hotel pier. Also, Antonio is also a wealth of knowledge about the island of Cozumel and the surrounding areas. A real good person to know and will assist you with any questions you may have. To be honest, I have stayed in other hotels around the island and visited a few and they were ok, but the ElCoz has everything I’m looking for while on vacation… Friendly staff, Close to town, nice beach with great snorkeling, good food, great drinks, house keeping staff keeps the place spotless, and just a real nice place where I can relax and just let it all go… all at a price that we can afford….Thank you ELCozumeleno for welcoming us into your home…..Be Back In April ! Allen & Darlene Morgan Clermont, Fl. AKA Morgy P.S. Any questions folks?? Don’t hesitate to e-mail me at Morgy@comcast.net. Always glad to help if I can… :o)

We just got back from a beautiful vacation at El Cozumeleno. First we have to say that we had to reschedule our trip because of Hurricane Dean. A few days before the storm, we called to see if we should come or reschedule. The representative was so honest and courteous. She advised us not to come and refunded all our money. We decided to come in September and had a great time. The staff were all friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The rooms were kept super clean and so were the grounds. The food was very good. There is so much food available all the time, there is no chance to get hungry. We had a great time and will definitely come back and recommend it to friends. We never left the resort because everything we wanted was right there. Thanks so much! The Swearingens, New York

Hello, My husband, a friend and I just returned from a wonderful stay at your resort. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and accommodating to our needs. I have shown photos of the hotel, and many of my friends now want to book with you. I know they will be happy. We do have one point of concern, because it did make sleeping very uncomfortable. The pillows are so hard I slept with the bedspread rolled up as a pillow. My friend had a sore neck. I can live with a hard bed, but my friend was sore. I did hear other people at breakfast mentioning their pillows being too hard also. Thanks again for a great time. Carol Bomhoff Fay, Oklahoma USA

Well my family and I just got back from an amazing trip from Cozumel Mexico. We stayed at the fabulous ElCozumeleno Beach Resort. We have gone to Cozumel for 15 years and we have stayed at this hotel every time. We love it here. We know what we get, and we like it. I have to comment on the food, so delicious, and the service. Inside the fancy restaurant we made some very good friends like Willy and Angel. They were very good gentlemen to our family, and even played with our baby Harley. I also have to comment on Angel from the kids place. He is one terrific guy. While at our stay in Cozumel, at the hotel we wanted to make braclets and he would be over there helping us 100% of the way. He truly is an amazing guy. He would also play beach volleyball with our family. It was like he was our brother or something. He had good manners toward everybody, and was just full of energy. He has the best smile and loves to make you laugh. They day before we left our family went on a sunset cruise and he made my 2 sisters and I braclets with our name put in them. I could tell he took a long time to make them with love, and as much skill as possible. They were amazing. I will keep it forever. But, overall our family had a good time, except the stupid weather was a little cloudy but thast okay, and I would like to thank Angel for the braclet and everything he did to help our family wtih. he deservs to be recognized!! First let me say we had a fantastic time at your resort from may 5th-10th.Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures, and everyone was very friendly. We especially loved the pool!. We stayed in room 1909 and was wondering if anyone may have found my husband's class ring.We can't seem to locate it,and wondered if we left it there. We also think we're missing a roll of used film. If anyone found one, could you please e-mail us with a response. We are already trying to plan to come again in a couple years, this time with the kids.Thank you for a wonderful vacation! My companion and I spent 6 nights at this beautiful hotel the second week of May, 2007. The hotel is decorated in a very tasteful and elegant manner and architecture is of beautiful stone We stayed in the north tower and had a deluxe room which is enormous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very firm but I adjusted after a few nights. The refrigerator was stocked (continually) with cold drinks and the terrace was large and comfortable. The room did have a moldy, musty smell but we kept the door open and the cross breeze from the ocean and hallway reduced the odor. The resort is well situated on the northwestern side of the island where you can see Playa across the channel. The water is just a stone throw from the hotel rooms and is just crystal clear. The beach is sugar white sand but a little rocky. However, the snorkeling right off the beach is wonderful! There are large piers that jute out into the ocean that break the current and calm the crystal clear water, to make for the best snorkeling I ever experienced. The food was good--to great (especially in the formal dining room) and the dining/buffet room is fantastic. It's right on the ocean with no windows so the breeze fills the room area--the view is fantastic. The staff go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay and are responsive and respectful. There are so many activities and things to do around the hotel and Cozumel and Manuel at the activities desk, is the man to talk with. He is so knowledgeable, considerate and kind--ask for him! . The entire staff is very involved in making the stay enjoyable and comfortable. So don't be cheap, take a few dollar bills to tip, as the staff really works hard and deserves it. I would highly recommend this hotel---I plan to return as soon as possible!!!! Sherri Morgan Dayton, Ohio

Just got back from a great week at the Cozumeleno. Just to ditto other comments: GREAT services, good food and comfortable room; although when we checked in and asked for a king bed the clerk wanted to know if we wanted ocean view, which duh. so the ocean views only had double beds (a little tough for my 6'4" frame) only when we were leaving did we find out that the older section of the hotel had the BIGGER rooms and KING beds and also an ocean view? don't know what differentiated the views, but heads up for those heading down and want the king beds. the one thing that stood out on this trip was the the prepardeness the hotel has for the unexpected weather. Saturday evening at around 5 we were having our drinks and looking across to the mainland at an amazing lightening show. by dinner time the storm was on the resort and raising hell. the wind was howling and the rain was horizontal. in short order the power went out and back up generators sprang to life. the staff never missed a beat in making sure everyone had a drink as they hurried about cleaning up and getting dinner up and running. no one panicked and dinner was only 1/2 hour delayed. Kudos to all the employees. -- Michael Turri

Mid-August of 2006 my brother and I searched the web to find the best All-inclusive vacation for the dollar. After much research, I'd chosen the El Cozumeleno Hotel in Cozumel, MX. It sounded like the perfect place and had lots and lots of positive reviews online. Upon arrival, we were jetlagged, hungry, and in desperate need of a cold drink of water and air-conditioning. Well, when we pulled up in front of the hotel, it was all downhill from there. The air-conditioning was up high (it was approx. 102* outside, what a relief.). Check-in was a breeze, room service was in lightning speed, and the view off of our balcony was breathtaking. During our stay, the staff treated us as though we were family. Ms. Ileana kept our room and water supply in perfect order. Ricardo in the El Cocal, as the pool staff, were attentive to our every whim, but not uncomfortably right up under us. In closing I would like to say that the El Cozumeleno is the jewel of the Caribbean, hands down. Sincerely, Samantha Harris

My fiance' and I spent 5 wonderful days at the El Cozumeleno resort, April 19th thru April 23rd. The beauty is just awesome! The hotel is clean, comfortable and the architecture is of beautiful stone. The rooms are also spaceous. The resort is well situated on the northwestern side of the island where you can see Playa across the channel. The water is just a stone throw from the hotel rooms and is just crystal clear. The beach is sugar white sand. The snorkeling right at the hotel has stone stair access, and there are large piers that jute out into the ocean that break the current and calm the crystal clear water, to make for the best snorkeling I ever experienced right at a hotel. The food was good and the staff that is at the hotel makes it very easy to access taxi's, rental cars, rental scooters and all sorts of activities. The entire staff is very involved in making the stay enjoyable and comfortable. So don't be cheap, take a few dollar bills to tip, as the staff really works hard and deserves it. The food is really good and is abundant. They will always, by the beach, make sure your drinks are full. They even put up a stage and put on a great show of various latin american countries and their themes. As an employee for a major airline here in the states, you just cannot beat their all inclusive package. We will definetely be returning to a paradise that is so close to home!

Hey Folks, My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 10 day vacation at the ElCozumeleno and I must say this hotel gets better every time I go.Check in was a breeze from the time I walked through the doors and saw to two smiling faces and received the hardy handshakes from the doormen, Jose and Federico, right to the front desk where I received a warm welcome from Nanci who had all the paperwork done in five minutes….oh yeah, don’t forget the Elcoz punch that is served to you as you arrive. I was in my room in ten minutes. I have to tell you I have been going to the Elcoz for many years, but have noticed the past year that more and more changes are being made to improve this hotel. Two of the managers, Senior Larenzo and Senior Phillipe constantly walk the grounds to keep this place improving everyday. Some changes are suttle, such as they have made the wrist bands smaller, and now can be covered with your watch in case you want to go out to dinner or hide it from the time share sharks, and is more comfortable to wear. Other changes are more drastic such as adding a completely new list of name brand liquors to all of the bars to make you the perfect tropical drink or one of your all time favorites. Here’s a tip….When you ask for a drink here, they will use the house liquor, unless you specify you want it made with a name brand. Just like it is done in the states. They don’t hide the stock, and they certainly don’t water the drinks down. I have personally witnessed them breaking the seal on the new bottles and throwing away the empties. The quality of the food has defiantly improved greatly. True there may be a few items that you may not care for, but all in all the buffet has defiantly stepped up to restaurant quality and not just the same old AI food anymore. Here’s another tip. Simply ask your waiter for it, or call for room service. Same thing at dinner when yet another option is added. You may choose to go to the restaurant inside, but you have to make reservations for this. You may have heard about the birds that sometimes fly through the buffet area trying to get a quick meal. This is an open air resturant, so of course they are going to. The waiters do everything they can to keep them out. The problem is, when the guest leave the covered food pans open, or their plates left unattended, it just draws the birds inside. Do your part and keep all foods covered, or don’t leave it on the tables unattended. The entire wait staff including my favorites, Marcos, Juan, Guadalupe and Jose, headed up by wait captain Francisco, are always eager to serve you, with the utmost respect, and efficiency that you would receive from a five star restaurant. On the rare case they may have overlooked something, just ask, and they will immediately respond to make sure your dining experience is a pleasant one. Here’s another tip….Always remember……a tip, even only a few bucks, is a very nice way to say thank you, and trust me the workers here sure appreciate your generosity. Talk about “Service”…My wife became violently ill from the Moldy, American Eagle “puddle jumper flight from Miami to Cozumel, and by the third day, she was only getting worse. We went to the front desk and asked Nanci if there was anything she could suggest that may help. She immediately called a local doctor, and explained the situation to him. My wife gave a brief history of the symptoms over the phone. The doctor said he would gladly come to the hotel, but was sure of the type of virus that my wife had. With that the doctor had two prescriptions sent to our room within the hour. Within 24 hours, my wife had a complete turn around….Let’s see you try that one in the states. My sincere thanks goes out to Nanci at the front desk and the local doctor. You defiantly saved our whole vacation. Almost every room at the ElCoz has a full or at least partial ocean view. The standard rooms in the south tower are comfortable four. More than four people, I defiantly suggest the Deluxe rooms in the north tower. Very clean rooms, and we had no problems with any of the fixtures inside. The housekeepers go above and beyond to keep it that way. The beds are a little firm, but I had no problem sleeping after a long day of playing. The grounds are very well maintained with workers working around the clock to keep this tropical paradise in top shape. The large beach is quite rocky just off shore from the storms washing the sand away. There are still a few places like the one next to the raised beach area where you can still walk in. The snorkeling right at the hotel is phenomenal. Last but certainly not least, Your first stop after you check in should be the “Dive Shop”.Make sure you go in and meet Antonio and his crew. A great bunch of guys that will help you with the planning of all of your excursions, and can answer just about any question you may have about the hotel or Cozumel. Antonio, you were defiantly one of the highlights of my stay. Gracias Amigo. We’ll be back in September. Any questions about the El Coz or the island, don’t hesitate to e-mail me at…..morgy@comcast.net See you in Paradise… Allen & Darlene Morgan. Clermont, Florida AKA Morgy.

We just returned home from our vacation to the El Cozumeleno, (week of April 20-27th). It was our 7th time there. Once again it was fantastic. I certainly appreciated the upgraded rooms that you reserved for us. They were super. As always your staff is second to none. The food was excellent, especially in the dining room. The menu has changed again for the better. The upgrades the hotel has made, even since I was there last November, are very nice. The mini fridges in the rooms is a very nice touch. My two children (ages 25 and 26) and their spouses just could not say enough nice things about the hotel and staff. I still cannot believe all the hard work you do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by setting up outside for the dinners. Please relay to your staff how much we appreciated it. Both my wife and myself as well as our children and their friends will be back to see you again. I never get tired of telling co-workers and friends about the El Cozumeleno and how it is the best vacation spot there is. Once again Thanks for your offer of the beautiful rooms. Sincerely Ray Jackson

My fiancée and I arrived last Wednesday, we were greeted with smiles and a well organized reception (including an orange/mango drink that really hit the spot). The Hotel was very clean and the air conditioning was cold. Our plan was to dive every day and that's what we did. The Scuba-Du team, right there at the Hotel was great, friendly, and experienced. We went out every day and never hit the same reef twice. I recommend going to see the sea turtles across the channel at ‘playa de Carmen’, if you get the opportunity. The dive shop was clean, had new equipment too rent (I only needed a BCD & Reg) and the staff was very helpful. Hose and Antonio go the extra mile to make your experience special and FUN. We also swam, played tennis, putt-putt golf, snorkeled and took a long walk on the beach which I didn’t expect. We went into town a couple of nights and every time the bell-hop had a taxi waiting for us, no delays at all. The food was good and plentiful; I appreciate getting the opportunity to dine in the dining room a couple of nights, it added a certain elegant atmosphere to our vacation. All in all we had a great time, I already recommended the El Cozumeleno to my co workers and Dive buddies. We will definitely be back again...Soon. Thanks

I went to El Cozumeleno for my senior spring break. Emmanuel from the activities team made it so much fun. There was bingo, contests, volleyball, and water aerobics. Also it is so close to town and everyone is so friendly. I can't wait to go back.

Our family of 10 stayed at your resort at the end of February 2007. We had booked our reservations through Apple Vacations seven months in advance, so we were disappointed when we first arrived when our party was not only assigned to several different room locations, but also did not receive the type of rooms we had requested. We had to argue with the front desk personel and not until our Apple Vacation Rep. assisted us did they finally switch our rooms so that we were close to each other. One word of advice, if you made a request especially as far in advance as we did, don't compromise because there are rooms available. When we said we had made requests at our booking, the front desk attendant didn't believe us and actually pulled out our registration form to verify it. We arrived at El Coz about 11 a.m. and got into our rooms about 4 p.m. which we wouldn't have minded if we would have been placed correctly. We also had one traveler that arrived later in the week, so I had verified with the front desk the day before that her room would be near ours. I was told it was, and needless to say it was not and did not have either a balcony or terrace as was advertised for all rooms. Other than the front desk, the resort service was exceptional and very friendly. The food was good, and La Veranda is definately the way to go for dinner. The pianist is wonderful, plays beautifully and made our dinners very enjoyable. One comment on the La Veranda, the dress code, which they have in place, however while we were dining they were several people wearing flip-flops, casual jeans and t-shirts. This doesn't bother me if that's the dress code, however it isn't so that should be either enforced or changed. I've been to and heard about other resorts that turn away people if they aren't dressed appropriately. The resort is well maintained and workers are constantly making sure it is immaculate. We stayed on the first floor in the south tower and the rooms were very spacious. The air conditioning units certainly need repair or undating as they are very noisy and kept us up at night. While everything worked in the bathrooms, they can use some modernizing and updating. This is a great hotel for any family group as everything is close together, and very casual. Aside from the preliminary headaches, we enjoyed vacationing on Cozumel and exploring the downtown markets, island and dolphin discovery and had a great time at the El Cozumeleno.

We just returned from there and had a wonderful time. This is one of the cleanest hotels that we've stayed in. There is so much to do there, you don't even have to leave the resort. The activities were great for everyone; children and adults. Be sure to make a reservation for the formal dining room. That food was fantastic.

We can only say good things about our return to El Cozumeleno again this year. We so look forward to going each winter and we just arent diappointed. We loved the changes this year. The staff there works so hard at taking care of each customer. We find plenty to do and lots to eat. But then we could sit and watch the ocean 24/7. It is so beautiful there. The only thing that could be better would to be able to go twice a year!

We stayed at the El Coz in February for a wedding. It was absolutely wonderful. My son had a blast and the service was terrific. There were children's activities which really involved them. (My son won the musical hat dance competition!) The food was fantastic and there always seemed to be something to snack on. The staff was great and would help with anything you needed. Our south tower room had a beautiful view of the ocean and coast. I would recommend this resort to everyone and am planning another visit in December!

We just returned from another 8 day stay at El Cozumeleno and I must say, this was one of the best yet. After staying last April after Wilma, seeing what El Coz has done is simply awesome. The improvements are beyond description. The hard work and dedication they've put into getting the resort back in shape shows the character and personaltiy of the Cozumelenos. What a wonderful job. The resort looks awesome. The staff is as friendly as ever and provided excellent service throughout our stay. It is no wonder we continue to come back. We requested south tower and as high as possible and the rooms we wanted we ready when we arrived. Antonio had set up my dives for the week and I couldn't have asked for more. The food was better than we have remmebered. A definite improvement. Breakfast and lunch were great, lots of variety on the buffet and it did vary day to day. The lunch menu items were delicious. More people shoudl try the lunch menu. We also ate once in La Veranda. As we usually go downtown for the evening to eat, shop, and relax, we haven't eaten at La Veranda in 3 years. The experience impressed us. The food was excellent, the staff great, and we now realize we may have mised out over the years by not taking advantage of La Veranda at least once during our stay. The hotel and facilites were in great shape. The beach is much improved over last year and you can see Mother Nature is trying, just slowly. The constant work by the staff to clean and maintain everything shows. The rooms were clean, everything worked well, except for water pressure in the afternoon. It dropped sometimes, most likely from all of the guests showering before dinner :) Overall, this was one of the better times, if not the best, we have had at El Coz. We remain in awe of the staff at El Coz and the Cozumelenos in particular. We could learn a lot from the islanders back here. The only item I would rate low is the lack of Internet access at El Coz. I've put this on my feedback every year. With today's society, internet access, free or by fee is a must. If El Coz could get some type of internet access for the guests, the resort would be perfect. But that won't stop us from returning again and again. For our needs and activities, you simply can't beat El Cozumeleno. Thanks to everyone for a great stay, AGAIN!

Our senior spring break was here and it was great for our age kids and the elders as well. there were kids our age there as well. i mean we had many things to do, the swim up bar, beach volleyball, eat as much as you want. There is snorkeling. Plenty of things for families and teenagers to do. Plus you are not that far from town, you can get a taxi and go into town. I know my friends and the families loved it and would love to come back. The service was great. All around it was a great place to be at and we had a blast!!

-the wait staff was very friendly and attentive -the rooms were a nice size and so was the balcony (excellent view), but the room smelled like mold most of the time -food was ok, breakfast was the best meal of the day, the formal restaurant wasn't that great. All in all a very relaxing vacation at your resort.

We just got back from our 7-day trip to El Cozumeleno with our 2 teenage girls, and we have nothing but great things to say about it. We don't even know where to start with the compliments. Our weather was great with every day in the upper 80s with only 30 minutes of rain the whole week. The staff was phenomenal and extremely helpful. The activities staff did a great job with the special events, especially the 2 outdoor buffet nights by the pool and on the beach. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was constantly cleaning and making things look their best. A huge thumbs up to everyone who works there! Food is always subjective, but we were very happy with the selection and quality considering we are pretty picky eaters. It's not 5-star quality, but what would you expect from a family-oriented resort? Like others have said, we felt that the breakfast buffet was the best meal of the day with many choices including your American favorites like pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and made-to-order omelettes. The buffet lunch and dinner menus were good and the snack bar area (again featuring things like pizza, pasta salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, etc.) was very convenient for a quick bite. And of course there's the very-popular soft-serve ice cream hut that was busy just about every minute of the day. We didn't try the formal restaurant but others said it was pretty good. The pools were very clean and didn't seem crowded even though we were there during Spring Break. Sometimes it was hard to get a lounge chair by the pool (and especially hard to get one under a beach hut) unless you got up early to claim your chairs by putting a towel, book or shoe on your chair. But everything was very nice and the wait staff frequently stopped by to see if we needed another pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, or Corona. Kayaking, mini-golf, the game room, and other activities were also fun for a quick diversion. The snorkeling area was very popular and we were there every day and saw plenty of fish. We had a room in the new tower with 2 double beds and a fantastic view of the turquoise ocean. The hotel provides 2 large purified water bottles each morning in your room which is good since they recommend NOT brushing your teeth with the tap water. The rooms were perfectly fine for our needs since you don't exactly spend a ton of time in your room with all the activities to do. Our only complaint was that the beds are REALLY REALLY firm. We found ourselves waking up a lot at night tossing and turning to take the pressure off our hips from the super-hard mattresses. The Front Desk staff is quick to help out with information about off-resort activities like golf, shopping in San Miguel (a.k.a. Downtown), Jeep rental (do it for a day to see the whole island on your own), and snorkel/SCUBA excursions. We definitely recommend El Cozumeleno for a great family vacation!

Too many kids and families, not enough young people. Nice place, nice pool and bar area, but not much of a beach, kinda rocky. Staff was cool.

I returned back from El Cozumeleno a week ago and can't stop thinking about this gorgeous place. I did not get a chance to meet the owner, but I am impressed with his ability to hire 100% wonderful staff. Excellent accommodations and facilities, very clean and pleasant. Great food and entertainment. I was with three teenagers and a seven years old and everybody had a lot of fun. The activities team - Xiomara, Angel, Erwin, Arturo, Emmanuel, and Russell - was amazing. Wait for us, we will be coming back. Anna, you are the most professional hotel representative I have ever met. Thank you very much to all of you for making our stay unforgettable.

This was our first time to Cozumel. We have traveled to other areas of Mexico and decided to try Cozumel. After searching resorts for quite some time, my wife came across El Cozumeleno. Most all of the reviews were very good. We, along with 4 other families, booked our trip. 10 adults and 10 teenagers. One of the reviews said to ask for the "new tower" and we did. Rooms much nicer than our friends. We all loved the resort. A beautiful setting, nice beach area, and snorkeling right out front due to the pier they have. The staff was very attentive and grounds were constantly being swept and cleaned. The food was good. Breakfast and Lunch were the best with the dinners being about 50% good. Antonnio, at the Dive Shop was very passionate about his job and did his job very well. We took 17 of us on the Manta for the snorkel trip and it was the highlight of the trip. We, also, did the para sailing for the kids. I felt we were shorted on time and Anttonio made it right. Book all of your activities through Antonnio. Overall, all of our families really enjoyed our stay and would recomend it to others.

My friend and I just returned from a week's stay at El Cozumeleno! Loved it!! The staff was friendly and always there to pick up empty plates or offer a drink! The food suited our tastes . . . breakfast was the best meal of the day for us! The accommodations are AWESOME - our room and view of the ocean was incredible, the beach was great . . . crystal clear and gorgeous shades of blue! I know the hotel was booked to capacity but we did not feel over cowded! We can't wait to return!!! Thanks to everyone at El Coz for making this a relaxing, enjoyable trip!!!!

I have just returned from spending a week in your lovely hotel. I stayed in room 1303 from March 12 to March 16, me and my wife had a great and relaxing visit. You should be proud of your staff. I have traveled the world over and never have I seen a staff so dedicated to making their guest feel at home or taking the pride they did in keeping the hotel and rooms clean. we just want to thank you for a great week. Sincerely James and Jean.

I am definitely going back to this hotel. They have great service especially Ocean Tours dive shop. Antonio, the person who runs the shop, is so pleasant and honest. The dive crew are just amazing. Chris, Sara and Eric were so supportive and helpful especailly to the beginners. Everything is at a convenience. So close to downtown too. Only $5.00 by cab. I saw some hotels in the south side of the island and they were far. It would cost at least $20.00 to get to the downtown area if you do not have a car. Cozumeleno has very nice sandy shore. Lots of activities that you can book.Great place for those who have children. this sis going to be my second home. Love you guys!

I just returned from an awesome week in Cozumel... we had a group of 6 returning for our 2nd trip to El Cozumeleno Resort 3/18-3/25, and as we expected, it was another fantastic experience. The resort is beautiful and very well kept, and the staff are all wonderful. We were excited to see a lot of the same friendly staff that we spent a week with last year, and they exceeded our expectations once again. If you're planning a trip to El Coz, be sure to go see Antonio in the dive shop for all of your needs - he is wonderful, and has never steered us wrong with his suggestions of places to go and things to do. And be sure to talk to him about the sunset cruises aboard the Manta... we went on 2 of them and they were definitely highlights of our trip. Thanks to our wonderful waiters Jose and Paul, Oscar the bartender, and everyone at El Cozumeleno for making our 2nd stay there even better than our first... we will all continue to recommend this resort to everyone we talk to, and I know that I can speak for all 6 of us when I say - we WILL be back again!

Our stay at El Coz was March 9-16 2007. A great time was had by us and our 2 kids ( ages 9 & 5.) We all agee that this was the best vacation we have ever had and we are planning on coming back in 2008. The grounds are very well maintained and the entire staff is excellent. We like the fact that the resort is not too large. Thanks to everyone at El Coz for a great family vacation !!

My family and I just returned from a great vacation at your hotel. I give your hotel a hearty thumbs up especially for families with small children as the Kids Club was used often and is extremely well run. I had no qualms about leaving my kids there. Antonio in the dive shop was extremely helpfull and treated us with Royal customer service(Muchos Gracias Antonio). I would definitely stay again and bring my golf clubs as well as my dive gear. Thanks to all Ken Brigden

I have been home a week now and am still thinking about how wonderful my vacation was because of your smiles and your wonderful place! Tom and I took advantage of the free diving instruction and the instructors were very patient and informative. Snorkeling right in front of the resort, we saw a variety of beautiful fishes and we saw dolphins right outside the buoys. What great water! Every day Marabel, the smiling person who took care of our room - 1302 - made it fun to be in. It was so clean and there was always a towel sculpture to look forward to. Her attention made our stay even
