| Thank you to the employees and staff at El Cozumeleno Beach Resort for once again making our stay such a pleasant one! We have been there many times and can't think of any place we would rather be. We visited this time on 04-06 June as a celebration of 36 years of marriage. What a wonderful surprise to come back from dinner one evening to find chocolates in the room with a "Welcome Back" message! (Thank you Mr. Fornier!) The accommodations were great. We love the ocean view rooms where you can just sit looking out over the beautiful water and watch the occasional cruise ship going in to San Miguel. We always see your people working hard to keep the resort beautiful and in good shape. The food was terrific. The snorkeling is unsurpassed right there at the beach. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and treats us with respect, and we really appreciate that. We have, and will continue to, suggest El Cozumeleno to any one who wants an unforgettable vacation. Thank you, and we look forward to our next visit. | ||

| FANTASTIC TIME !!!!!!!! Thanks, your people delivered some of the greatest service we have ever had and we have been everywhere. I will highly recommend your resort to my friends. Thanks again, Gary and Lane | ||

| We stayed for the first time at the El Cozumeleno and LOVED it! The staff were great and very friendly!!! We especially loved Jorge and Naomi they were always so helpful and very nice and fun to talk with. We loved Anna that taught the dive class. Fernado and Anna were so much fun on the beach dive. We wished we would have taken the dive class the first day instead of the last day, because we would have taken more dives. Overall we had a great trip! I only have one complaint.....NEED SOFTER pillows. We will be returning to vacation at the El Cozumeleno again. Thanks, Tim & Rozanna Roach | ||

You go out of your way to make us welcome and comfortable, such a beautiful place in paradise! Food, ambiance, accommodations, you really go the extra mile! Thank you for all you do! | Hola to all my friends at the Elcozumeleno. We would like to thank you all for yet another wonderful vacation this past September ‘09. We normally stay for nine days, but this year we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay to Fifteen days…It still wasn’t enough!!! We miss you all already. Your staff always goes far and beyond our wildest expectations to insure our stay with you is a memorable one. Always courteous, helpful and friendly. They all work so hard to make the Elcoz the best anyone could ever hope for…..and it shows. Your hotel still remains my number one choice for our holiday destination. Close to town yet quiet, breath taking views, good food and drink and best of all the staff and management who we are proud to call our friends. The Elcozumeleno has just the perfect balance of everything for us to consider it our home away from home in paradise. Gracious mi Amigos ! See you in April! If anyone has any questions about the Elcozumeleno or Cozumel, please don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail at Morgy@comcast.net. I’ll be glad to help if I can. Allen & Darlene Morgan Clermont, Fl. | 29 Sept to 4 Oct were the days days I was at El Cozumeleno for vacation. I want to start by saying that I've never been any place with a nicer staff ever. Everyone is so friendly, and we will absolutely be back. I saw a few too many visitors staying there that treated the staff very poorly. If you are a person thinking of going to El Cozumeleno, please, please be nice to these people. I was also very shocked that the rudest vacationers didn't leave tips. Again, if you are reading this, the staff does not make a lot of money and with as nice as they are being to you, tipping them $1 here and there helps them out a LOT and it will not break you. I just want to say a big "THANK YOU" to all of the staff - you guys are the best. Now for the scenery - again, so extremely impressed..!! It was so breathtaking from the snorkeling, to the view from our hotel room, to the beautiful fixtures this hotel had. Simply amazing. We had a room on the 9th (very top) floor and the first time I stepped out onto the balcony, my breath was taken away. I've looked at my pictures (all 600+) so many times and it isn't getting old. The white sand here is beautiful. Everything was kept very, very clean and neat and the food wasn't bad. My fiance and I were worried about getting sick, but neither of us did. There is an outside restaurant and a fancier one inside. The one inside is so delicious. You need to make reservations, but only by like 4pm. We ate there every night. Loved it! Thanks again guys :) ~Jen, Pittsburgh PA

| Well, you all did it again. We had a great time this year (like always). We go to Cozumel every year and stay at El Coz. We have been staying there since 1995 and each year you all just get better and better. Last year we had a group of 11, this year we had a group of 14. We highly recommend the hotel to everyone when we get back to the States. My daughter and her girlfriends went last year for the first time. She loved is so much she is going back this year with her girlfriends. If I had a dime for every one we recommend the hotel to or person's we took for the last 14 years, I'd be rich. Everyone is so hospitable and friendly. When we leave to come back home we get very sad, it is as though we are leaving family behind and not seeing them for a year. We have made friends with every one their from the Bell boys, Front desk to waiters. The managers even recognize us now, they even shake our hand and Welcome us Back. We hope to continue to return every year as long as we can. You all have a GREAT group of employees that work for you and one can tell that they enjoy their job. That is what makes the Hotel, the employees. Employees can either make you great or break you. Your employees make you GREAT and make El Coz a fun, beautiful and memorable place to stay and remember for the rest of ones life. Thank You ALL for your GREAT work, friendly faces and friendly atmosphere for all of us to come to enjoy a vacation of a lifetime. See you all next Year: William Henderson & Evelyn Onofre Henderson Marnie Matheny & Alonso Craft | ||

| We just got back from our Cozumel trip and I just like to say that my wife and I and our friends had a completely INCREDIBLE time at the El Cozumeleno Resort. At first, we were worried about the "3-star" rating that some sites gave the El Coz, but that worry left the moment we arrived at the resort. The staff was first rate. "5-star" in our book, from the door men, to the hotel clerks, to waiters, all the way to cleaning (maids) and maintenance crews. FIRST RATE! The resort had everything you needed to get away and just relax, while letting the staff pamper you like royalty. There is one waiter in particular that went above and beyond to make our stay more enjoyable. Her name was Naomi. She was incredible, not only to us, but to everyone she came across. ALWAYS had a smile and a warm greeting, not to mention she remembered all of our drinks that were ordered. She was just PHENOMENAL. Now, would we stay at the El Cozumeleno again...DEFINITELY!!! Again, FIRST RATE accommodations, FIRST RATE staff, BEAUTIFUL resort. Definitely would stay there again. The only "complaints" that I have are nature ones. Just find a way to keep the birds and the mosquitoes out. Beyond that, just keep doing what you're doing. Thanks, Roger and Stacy Bascon | ||

| I would just like to thank all the staff for making mine and my daughter's first visit out of the USA the best ever. We were both apprehensive but that was quickly calmed once we entered the El Cozumeleno. The staff acted like family that we hadn't seen in years. They were all very welcoming. I had read reviews online before making my final decision to stay at the El Cozumeleno. The rooms were awesome and very clean! We noticed that every day the staff was cleaning and straightening the grounds. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed the reservation portion of the resort food was equal to a 4-5 star restaurant in the US. We both agreed we would return and highly recommend this resort without any reservations. The only thing I would recommend about the resort which has nothing to do with the hotel itself is the prices you are quoted for activities by the staff which are not employed by the hotel get several quotes. I highly recommend the snorkeling trip which is reserved through the scuba/snorkeling shop on the beach the staff and the boat crew were awesome! Don't look any further stay here you wont regret it!! We will be BACK!!! | ||

| Hello, we just returned from our first trip to the cozumeleno on 7/9/09 and had a very good time. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean with a nice decore. The beach area was awesome with clear waters and many fishes. The sunsets were also beautiful. There was plenty to do at the hotel and we appreciated the entertainment provided. The food at the El Cocal Restaurant could have been a little better, maybe less birds and a more traditional Mexican cuisine; however, the food at the La Veranda Restaurant was very good. Also, the room service food (and the service) was very good. We had a wonderful time and would like to come back with our two sons in the future, muchas gracias y hasta luego ! | ||

| We just returned yesterday, and I just wanted to tell you how wonderful our stay was. It was everything we had hoped for and more. A very special thanks to our waiter, Angel. He was just fabulous and always made our mornings. We very much appreciate how everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make our boys (ages 4 and 6) feel special. We could not of asked for a better vacation. We will definitely be returning to El Cozumeleno in the future. Thanks again for making our vacation so special. Sincerely, Ben and Heather Railsback | ||

| Hola! My family and I recently stayed at your resort for the second summer in a row. We really love everything about El Cozumeleno. Your staff are wonderful people and they made our stay perfect! Two of your staff members allowed us to take photographs with them. We were wondering if we could somehow get the pictures to them? Could we mail the photographs to them at the address for the hotel, or do you have any suggestions on how we can get them to them? Thank you very much for the best vacations we have ever had! Please reply to this email address instead, the other email address isn't working, Thank you! | ||

| My fiancé and I arrived on 1/25/2009 for a wonderful two week vacation and to be married on the beautiful beach of the El Cozumeleno!! It was everything we expected and so much more. Our first week was so relaxing with all the wonderful food and drinks and our awesome beach waitress, Naomi!! During the week Maribel (best wedding coordinator around) arranged for us to see the florist in town, all I can say is this florist is amazing and the flowers were identical to what I had found on the internet and printed off for her to see, they were more beautiful then words can describe. Maribel was the absolute best the entire week with all my questions and wanting to make sure everything was just perfect as we had family arriving from Minnesota who had never been out of the country, let alone to attend their son's/brother's wedding!! The rest of our wedding party arrived on 1/31/2009 and they were speechless, despite the cooler temperatures they fell in love with Mexico and the hotel. We had lots of fun sitting in the sun, snorkeling, shopping, golfing, massages on the beach and deep sea fishing, it was an awesome trip. The wedding was at sunset on February 2, 2009 and couldn't have been more breath taking and perfect from the sunshine to the waves crashing in. The bridesmaids wore teal dresses to match the ocean and the groomsmen wore linen shirts and khaki's, which looked so nice. We all shared a toast on the beach and some very special moments as a new family. We had two wonderful photographers and many pictures to always remember our special day. We had a delicious meal in the dining room with lots of laughs and good times had by all that evening. A huge thank you to all of the kitchen staff, yard keepers, room attendants, bartenders and especially the wait staff who work very hard and always display heaps of gratitude. We loved the nightly entertainment and the live band on the beach! We will be back another time and will recommend others to come enjoy the beauty of your hotel and Mexico. THANK YOU to everyone who made it an extra special trip for our family and a wedding day we will always cherish! The Dudycha's!! Pam Dudycha | ||

| We visited your resort the week of April 13th and never would have believed that we would have enjoyed ourselves like we did. We can’t say enough about the cleanliness of your hotel, the workers are top notch. In just a week we felt like we had extended family such as Angel and Luis by the pool. David who served us one evening in the inside bar, made our night, he’s the best. For anyone that has any hesitations about all the bad publicity regarding gang wars etc, no need to worry. I plan on bringing my Granddaughter with me next time, which we initially said would be next year but we had such a great time, we’re trying to fit another trip in this year. Thanks again for making our trip to Cozumel one of the best vacations we’ve ever had and that’s saying a lot to beat out Disney World and even Hawaii! Carol S. Jones Houston | ||

| We spent a week with you over Easter. This was the first trip for our sons out of the country, They are 17 and 14 and are already helping us plan our trip back to see you next year. We had a wonderful time. What a wonderful resort you have. The staff is very professional and accomodating and the facility itself is amazingly wonderful. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the facility itself as well as our room on a daily basis. We also felt very safe and were able to let our teenage boys go do their own thing. We will definitely be back next year and are hoping to bring another family with us to enjoy the experience. Keep up the good work El Cozumeleno'. You are great ! The Koeneke's from Wisconsin | ||

| This was our first visit to El Cozumeleno but certainly not our last! We were there during Spring Break (week of 3/15). Weather was perfect! The hotel staff accommodating! We were on the 9th floor and the sunset views were spectacular! We enjoyed the pool side activities as well as the excursions. Johan runs a great Bingo game and plays a mean game of beach volleyball! We'll be back! | ||

| Our first out-of-the-country family vacation to Cozumel was awesome! We left Wisconsin on January 28th in below zero weather. Arrival in Cozumel was 85 degrees and it stayed that way all week!!! YAAY!! A perfect welcome from the turquoise and white Funjet 'Juans' at the airport & we knew we were in for some fun with those smiles! The front desk staff made check-in a breeze! Maribel ordered cala lillies for our son's wedding that was to take place the day we flew in, thank you for your expert service Maribel! The wedding at sunset on the beach was like a storybook fairy tale, with the waves rolling onto the rocks and the gently blowing breeze...did I mention the beautiful sunset? Our photo album contains pictures of the bride and groom crossing the beautifullly lit bridge between the pools, and as 'king and queen' on the large chess set. The rooms are brightly colored and clean, the daily buffet offers a wide variety of delicious foods-we especially love the breakfast omelets, yummmm! A big thank you to all of the kitchen staff, yard keepers, room attendants, bartenders and especially the wait staff who work very hard and always display heaps of gratitude...Amazing Aldo and Magnificent Miguel, just to name a few! The variety of nightly entertainment was astonishing, we loved the live band on the beach! On the 4th day, we arranged snorkelling south of the island and the crew of the boat were fabulous...all 19 of us enjoyed it immensely! We especially liked the attention to detail regarding the safety of the equipment, the sense of humor, and the dancing at sunset on the way back to the hotel-all captured on video of course! Popcorn on Superbowl Sunday and 85 degrees made it a memorable day, (compared to freezing in Wisconsin!) All and all, our 7 day stay was terrific and we will for sure consider staying at the Elcozumeleno again! THANK YOU to everyone who made it an extra special week for our family! Much love and gratitude from the Hagedorn's | ||

| Once again, my husband and I enjoyed another wonderful week at the El Cozumeleno (week of March 7 - 14). This was our 6th visit in 5 years, and it we had our way it would be more often. When we arrived we were greeted like family members and our entire stay there was fabulous. I was fortunate to celebrate my birthday while there, and the staff (especially Luis) in the formal dining room helped me celebrate in high fashion. They did not have a birthday candle, so they improvised with a straw with a piece of napkin stuffed in the end. I will cherish that memory forever. The band Wednesday night was great - I could have listened to them all night! Thanks again for your excellent hospitality - we will definitely be back! | ||

| To every staff member of El Cozumeleno My husband and I stayed with you for our 15th anniversary in November of 08. I just wanted you to know that we loved being there. We had such a nice time. When we first walked in the door we were greeted with a warm welcome and drinks. The entire time we stayed we were being served at every moment. I thought the food was wonderful and again the service we received was incredible. Our room was always taken care of and little cute towel shapes were made up for us each night. We looked forward to what little surprise we would see when we returned. We enjoyed the different themed evenings for dinner. Staying at the El Cozumeleno made our celebration memorable. Snorkeling right out side of our hotel was the best. We love Cozumel and when we return we will be staying with you again. Thank you for a lovely time. We miss being there. Jefferson MD, USA | ||

| I would like to write to your hotel and thank you for the great time and service we had on our vacation. My husband and mother arrived on Sunday, December 28th, 2008 and left on Sunday, January 5th, 2009. When we arrived, the front desk was very helpful at arranging our rooms so we were next to each other for ease and safety. Our rooms and view were beautiful. They were well-maintained. The pools, beach and grounds were also very nice. The food and beverages were top notch. We feel the service by everyone at your establishment was top notch. We have already recommended your hotel to others arriving in the next few months. We will also be back. Thanks again for everything and keep up the great experience for other vacationers. | ||

| Oh My Gah! I am so excited I just booked another trip for my family of six to the El Cozumeleno for a week in the month of June, 2009. We have been coming to your resort for years now, I believe this will be our 13th visit. To anyone out there that may be questioning whether or not to visit the EL Cozumeleno, let me just tell you It Is the GREATEST. The resort feels like our second home and all of the employees are our family that we get to see twice a year. Look forward to seeing everyone in June maybe in April too, haven't booked that one yet it may be last minute trip , I am keeping my fingers crossed for that one. Please tell Mario and Federico the Clarks from Texas say HOWDY!!! Denison, Texas | ||

| Thank you El Cozumeleno Beach Resort for a great vacation. We stayed from January 16th through January 23rd, 2009 at your resort and everything was very nice. All the employees were very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel and resort is very clean and beautiful. The food was very good, and many different varieties to pick from daily. Your resort is very quiet, relaxing, but yet fun things to do. We would recommend this resort for our family and friends when planning a vacation package. Great Job to all. Thank you again. | We just had our SECOND vacation at El Cozumeleno. Wonderful place! It is not under question where we will go the next time. This resort has everything we need for a perfect vacation - very friendly staff, very clean, wonderful food, all kinds of entertainment. Bravo to the owner! | ||

| We just returned to Michigan after a 7 night stay at El Cozumeleno. We had a wonderful stay at El Cozumeleno. We stayed in the South Tower on the 7th floor. The rooms are huge and very clean. We were very impressed with how clean this hotel is. The workers there work very hard and are always cleaning. The food at LaVeranda was very good. The buffet food was good and could always find something we liked. There are computers in the lobby that are available to send e-mails back home. The activities staff were fun and tried to get people involved in activities around the pool. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future!! | ||

| HI, We just got back from your resort. We were there from Jan. 24-31. What a great time at a great resort. This was our first all-inclusive. We were with another couple celebrating our 40th wedding anniversaries. We stayed in ocean view balconies #1906 and #1912 (9th floor) and the rooms were beautiful with wonderful views. Special thanks to Marcos and Oscar, the lobby and snack bar bartenders, the La Veranda waitstaff, housekeeping, Aldo and the others who waited on us at all times. The drinks were great and food was wonderful and so much variety. The weather was perfect. The only suggestion I would give to the staff is to have an activities board in the lobby area &/or near the elevators listing the activities of the day and to also list the name of the movies that will be shown during the week, with each day and movie listed. We had a very nice and memorable time and would recommend this resort to everyone. West Fargo, ND USA | ||

| Hi Just wanted to let you know we appreciated our recent stay with you. Everyone was so thoughtful and helpful. We were almost going to cancel the trip due to the concern that we hear about of the drug wars in Mexico. We did not feel threatened at all after we got there. Thank you. | ||
| We just returned home yesterday from our glorious stay at your resort. We can’t say thank you enough to the wonderful staff at the El Cozumeleno. It was a beautiful resort, wonderful food, beautiful surroundings, and just an all-round great vacation. We booked two excursions through the staff with the hotel, and they both turned out to be wonderful experiences (snorkeling and visiting the Mayan Ruins). We are already planning our return visit, which if I had my way would be next week!! We really enjoyed our stay, and we just want to say muchas gracias to everyone at El Cozumeleno. | ||
| Thank you for the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. My husband and I stayed at your resort from Jan. 16 until Jan. 23. This was the first trip to Mexico for my husband and I and it was amazing. We had an oceanview room. It overlooked the pool area and the beach. It was so nice. When we left Wisconsin it was -30 degrees and arrived to mid 70's. We arrived on the tail end of a cool and wet week, but by middle of the second day the weather was getting nicer. That evening was so calm, that the little bridge by the pool, with the lights glowing looked like paradise. The staff were second to none and treated us like royalty... very friendly and helpful. They were always cleaning, washing windows, watering the gardens and sweeping up sand from the beach. The waiters and bartenders were also fantastic. We really enjoyed the waiter Jose from the breakfast buffet. The food at El Cocal was superb! The variety and selection was unbelievable. Also enjoyed the dinner shows. I would suggest opening the karaoke bar a little earlier, possibly at 9 p.m. rather than at 10 p.m. But we would definitely come back again and would highly recommend your resort to our friends and family. A special thanks to Juan our FunJet rep, who helped us tremendously. Thanks again for a great vacation! | ||

| My family and I stayed at your resort from Dec 12 until Dec 19th and just wanted to send a great big thank you! We had an amazing time and have recommended El Cozumeleno to all of our friends and family back home in Canada. We were on vacation with my parents as well as our 4 daughters ranging in age from 11 yrs old to 17 yrs old and all had a wonderful time! I did not have to worry about the kids whatsoever as the resort was very safe! The food was awesome as well, a great selection for even the fussiest of children! The staff were second to none and treated us like royalty…We are already planning a return trip to El Cozemeleno as we felt completely at-home there! Way to go to all of the staff and Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy 2009! Joann and Jamie McGuin and Family | ||

| my family and I just returned from your resort and had a wonderful time. Your hotel, your staff, your beach were all fantastic and we are telling everyone we know what a great place it is for a getaway vacation. We are hoping to come back next year and yours is the only resort we are even going to contact. Thanks again for a wonderful memory. Gary Earnest | ||

| My wife and I stayed at El Cozumeleno from August 18-25, 2008 for our honeymoon. It was our first trip to Mexico and I was a bit nervous about the resorts being as advertised on their websites. If you are considering El Cozumeleno, go there! We were blown away by how beautiful everything was. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were always cleaning; washing windows, watering the gardens and sweeping up sand from the beach. We had an oceanview room. It overlooked the pool area and the beach. It was so nice. The pool area is amazing if you are a pool dweller. The beach area very nice, the water was crystal clear. We snorkeled right around the resort for free nearly every day. Lots of beautiful fish. Do yourself a favor, eat at La Veranda for dinner every chance you get. The food and service was excellent. El Cocal was great for quick dinners and lunches as well. We had a great time at El Cozumeleno and wanted to say thank you to all the friendly staff. | ||
| We just got back from a fabulous week at your resort. We wanted to say thank you for a great time. The hotel is so super-clean, and the service was great. Casino night was so much fun, and the dinner shows were all great. We enjoyed great service from Mario at the front desk, and from Paul and Nohemi at La Veranda Restaurant. Your resort is a great value and we hope to be back soon! | ||

| A Big Thank You From Morgy !.................................................................................... We stayed at the El Cozumeleno from October 27th to November 6 and I would just like to thank you all for once again making our vacation the most memorable vacation that anyone could ever hope for. We usually stay here in April and September although we were a little late this year. It’s so nice to drive up to the hotel and feel welcomed as soon as we step out of the car. All of the staff and management are always so helpful and courteous. It kind of makes us feel as we are staying with family. I have to say, being a member in operations of a major theme park, I am always simply amazed at how your hotel is always striving to update and rehab this resort to be the best it can be, while keeping the prices at a reasonable rate for all to be able to visit this family friendly resort. The food and drinks were superb, the service was above and beyond and it was incredible to see everyone working so hard together to keep this place so enjoyable for all. By the way, Everyone loved the new addition of the live band “Red Eye”. They have really added a nice touch to the resort. Thanks once again to all. We will see you again in April my friends. Allen & Darlene Morgan….Clermont Florida. If anyone has any questions about the Elcozumeleno or Cozumel, please don’t hesitate to send me an e-mail at Morgy@comcast.net. Always glad to help if I can. | ||

| I spent a week there recently with my family. I want to thank you for making our vacation so relaxing and enjoyable. Everybody was so nice and the accomodations were amazing. I would like to mention a few people that I want to give special thanks to for being absolutely great. Jose and Abril with the activities area were so much fun! I also want to mention Luis, Angel, Alejandro, Noemi, Fernando, Baltazar, and Paul for always making sure we had all the food and drink we could need! The band "Red Eye" played while we were there and they were really fun! Again I want to thank you for everything. I'm planning and looking forward to next year when we will be back for more fun! | ||

| Once again my husband & I experienced a wonderful 7 days at the El Coz (Oct 4-11). Unfortunate for the hotel, occupancy was way down, but the service was still as good, if not better than ever. This was our 5th trip in 4 years and we hope to keep on going back for many more (hope to be back in March). Congratulations are in order to Luis Angel on his promotion and to all the waiters and bartenders. You are the BEST! Hello to Nanci too - thanks to her we got the room we wanted. Keep up the good work! Linda & Steve Effingham, IL | ||

| My husband and our friends just returned from our trip to Cozumel where we stayed at the El Cozumeleno (Sept 26-30). It was the best trip ever! The staff was so friendly. Especially Naomi and Paul at the outside bar. The activities group was great. We enjoyed the "shows" in the evenings when we were there. We also enjoyed the snorkeling and canoes that we could use for free at the hotel. Even though we were there during a tropical depression and it rained more than not, we still had a blast and have never had better service. The food was great and we never went hungry. There was something different and yummy every night at the buffet to eat. The snack bar was a life saver more than once and the food there was great too. We will definitely recommend the El Coz to any of our friends and cannot wait to return ourselves. Thanks for making it a great vacation! | ||

| Hello, I stayed at your hotel in 1993 or 1994 I think. The purpose of my trip then was to Scuba Dive and I found both your hotel and the diving very good. I think there were Austrailians with the dive shop then. I'm considering your hotel for a two week vacation starting October 20th. I would need my own room for two weks and my daughter and her boyfriend would share a room for one week. I'm wondering if there is a single supplement cost I would have to pay? Also I'm wondering about the cost of diving. Do you offer dive packages? Both myself and my daughter are certified Open Water divers. Is Open Water certification OK? I have heard that Advanced Certification was needed. My daughter's boyfriend will be doing part of his Open Water certification in Toronto and will complete the class and pool portion. Can he bring his documentation and complete the four open water dives necessary to obtain Open Water certification at your shop? This is what many Canadians are doing now as your diving is so much better than ours. My daughter did this. Thank You! | ||

| We just got back from staying at your wonderful Resort. We were there from Aug. 23 to Aug. 29. We have been coming to your Resort now for 10 years. We love the beach, the people that work there and the great hospitality that we receive from your staff. Everyone is so friendly, your staff gives every one personal attention. They make sure that ones needs are taken care of. This year there was a group of 11 of us. The members in our group that had not been there enjoyed it very much. We always have a good stay when we go. Many Thanks to Nancy at the front desk, for her patience when we had to move from one building to another. And all the rest of the staff, the bell boys, the waiters at El Cocal Restaurant and the waiter and bar tender in the main lobby. Your hotel accommodations along with your staff make one have a GREAT vacation and have us return. Please give your Staff a GREAT big pat on there back. Job well done. Evelyn & William Henderson and Marnie Matheny & Alonzo Craft. See you all same time next year, on the last week in August. | ||

| We recently stayed there from August 14-19 and spent our second honeymoon and 11th anniversary there. All we have to say is thank you so much. We have never had such a wonderful time on a vacation as we did there. The food, drinks, atmosphere, all incredible. We loved it so much we are already planning our 15th anniversary there. We may even take friends! It was Kari's first time in the ocean, first time snorkeling, and first "miami vice" . W cannot wait til 2012 when we will come back on our 15th to celebrate with you all again. Justin and Kari Hammons, Longmont CO | ||

| My husband and I stayed at your beautiful resort July 8th- July 13th and it was amazing! Your staff is second to none and the ammenities were wonderful. We enjoyed snorkeling the beautiful water and lounging in the awesome pool. Our room was cleaned spotless everyday and everyone was so kind. We have recommended your resort to everyone who has asked. We WILL be back!! Thanks for making our 10th anniversary a treasured memory. Sincerely- Christy Marcin | ||

| Hello- We recently spent 5 days at the resort and had a wonderful time! The service, food and activities were truly wonderful. Your staff is sensational - especially Ms. Bertha, who took care of our room. I have recommended the resort to many friends and know several who are planning a visit. I would like to request some information. While there, we ate at LaVeranda, which served a wonderful white wine. I asked the waiter to see the bottle, which he did, and the only thing I can remember were the words "VIN" on a beige label. He said it was from Spain. I have been trying to locate this wine here, but no one is familiar with it. Brenda Cames | ||

| My sisters and I stayed at the resort July 8th to July 12th and had the best vacation ever! Everyone was super nice and were always making sure we were happy and had everything we needed or wanted. We made quite a few friends, both Ricardos in La Veranda, Juan at the outside bars, Fernando from the karaoke bar, and our maid was excellent. The place was gorgeous and we constantly saw employees doing all they could to keep everything beautiful for the guests. The only complaints we had were that the gym could have used some modern equipment and the karaoke bar could have been open slightly later. Other than that everyone was wonderful. I can’t stop talking about our time there to my friends and co-workers and even talked one of my clients into going there next year on her anniversary. We had a great time and hope to come back soon. Thank you Jessica LaMance QA Supervisor | ||

| My husband and I have been home for a week after spending 8 GLORIOUS days at El Cozumeleno. Everything at the resort was 5 star. In fact we loved it their so much we are presently trying to find time in our crazy schedules to go back, ASAP! A very special thank you to Benjamin and all of the waiters both at the El Cocal and La Veranda. Benjamin your the best! The food was wonderful and the Spanish wine....nothing like it anywhere else. Once again thanks everyone for all your hard work; it made our stay there unbelievable. Cynthia and Stuart Ramsey | ||

| My sister and I were at your hotel on May 7 to the 12 and let me thank you guys for such a wonderfull place and for such great staff, specially Geronimo, he sure knows how to make your guess feel welcome. We had such a great time that we can not wait to go back hopefully really soon. I have talked to my friends and coworkers about your hotel and now they are making reservations for their next vacations. Thank you for all your hard work. Flor Garcia | ||

| Hello Sir: My husband and I just returned from your beautiful hotel today, after a 5 night stay. We loved every single minute of our stay there, and cannot wait to return. We were needing a getaway so very much, and were really struggling with which hotel to book, when we decided on El Cozumeleno. Your entire staff was so very polite and friendly, and everyone went out of their way to be respectful. The food was delightful, and we were very impressed by the upkeep of the entire property. We always felt very safe there, and we were never afraid to leave anything in our room, etc. We have traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya, Huatulco, Ixtapa, and we were next door at El Melia for our honeymoon 12 years ago. While it was nice then, we are very glad we did not book there for this trip--the water is not nearly as pretty there. This has been our favorite place of all, and we will be back! Again thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant. Joe and Sherrie Sparger Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Stayed 6/18 - 6/23 | ||

| Hey we were at your beautiful resort from April 30th until May 7th and to this day we wish we were there. We were known as THE CANADIANS lol, it was me, my girlfriend Tanya, and our friends Matt and April and we all had an amazing time. We walked in and were greeted with drinks which made the day of traveling worth it. The whole staff from top to bottom were awesome. From Philippe Fournier (on te vera encore) one of the managers to the entire staff working there. We must really thank the activities team because they did a great job. Artura, Luis, Geronimo, senoritas Kenia & Abril and the rest of the team, you guys were awesome. Whenever we wanted to do something they tried their best to help us play(usually pool or beach volleyball). And Arturo rrar rarr rarr....You were hilarious and took us on a fun bike trip. Luis was the best DJ, sorry Geronimo...But Geronimo, Kenia and Abril you guys did a great job with the different activities. The wait staff and bell boys were really nice and helpful. All in all we loved our trip. The food was good, the drinks were great and the resort was just amazing. Thank you everyone there and we hope to see you guys again. Josh Tellier | ||

| Hello, my husband Leroy and I, along with 6 of our friends and family stayed at ElCozumeleno May 19th thru May 24th, 2008. If someone told me I could leave today, I'd be packed in an hour. It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! We've already decided we'll be staying at your establishment again in the future. The service was exemplary, the facility was spotless, the food was delicious and the beach and water were beautiful. I'm so glad we stayed there. I do believe this was the best vacation I've ever been on. Thanks and see you in the future!!! Leigh Ann and Leroy Falter Freeburg, Missouri | ||

| Thank you for everything. We will see you again real soon. Allen and Darlene Morgan “Morgy” April 15th to the 24th My wife and I have just returned from 10 “Glorious” days at the Elcozumeleno Beach Resort and I have to tell you that we miss it already. We go to Cozumel every April and September and honestly the Elcozumeleno just keeps getting better every time we stay there. Honestly, the staff and Management always makes us feel welcome just as we would feel coming “Home to Family”, from the warm welcome we received our first day there, to the hugs and handshakes the day we had to leave. Always a friendly smile and a hola’ from everyone. Thank you to “all” that made our stay so special. The managers there really take pride in their resort. I have noticed they work from sun up to sun down, and sometimes beyond, constantly pacing the grounds to ensure that every guest has a memorable stay, and it shows. I would like to add a few travelers notes to pass along some of the changes I have noticed since our last stay. We have always found the food here to be just fine. There is such a large variety that we sometimes have a hard time deciding on just what we want. I have found there are a few things on the menu that I don’t care for, but there is always plenty of other choices to put together a well balanced meal. Among the huge selection during the day, they have added a cooler on the pool patio that is stocked with fresh made hoagie sandwiches and salads. They have added menus for all the tables in case you can’t find anything on the buffet or what is being cooked daily on the grill that appeals to you. They have even added two new Hot Cheese pumps to cover the high demand for Nachos and cheese. They also have a self serve soda and ice cream bar which has been lowered so the kids can use it.. This is good news for all the moms. Relaxing by the pool all day without having to serve the kids. Priceless… :o) In the past there was always a concern that there were not enough lounge chairs to go around. This is not the case anymore. More have been add since we were there last. While I was enjoying my coffee on a morning stroll I actually counted all the lounge chairs on the property. (I know, but somebody had to do it..heh…heh). Between the main pool, the covered pool, the small pool, under the palapas and all along the beach…350 lounge chairs! That’s not counting the tables and chairs around the small pool or the hammocks under the two shelters on the beach. That’s a lot of chairs. In fact there is simply no room for anymore. I did ask why there are only a few palapas on the beach (11), and the answer made sense. It would block the beautiful ocean view that everyone enjoys while eating in the restaurant….Especially at sundown….BEAUTIFUL ! In all honesty, what makes this hotel the perfect choice is that everything you need is right there. Although I do encourage you to rent a car to drive around the island, and make sure you go downtown for plenty of shopping. You can rent you car and book all your excursions right at the hotel. Some of the boats will pick you up right there as well. Great snorkeling right at the hotel but for you non-divers I recommend visiting the dive shop and booking a snorkeling tour. The reefs are truly awesome. Also if you are interested in diving….which I also recommend…sign up for their free one hour course at the dive shop as well. I could go on forever listing why this is the perfect choice for us. But all in all I think the doorman said it best when I first walked in the door…Big Smile….Firm handshake and he said to me “Welcome Home”….. If anyone has any questions please don’t hesitate to e-mail me at…morgy@comcast.net. I’m always happy to help if I can. OR We’ll see you down there in September. | We all had a great time once again. The new couple that went with us were thrilled with the hotel, and can't stop telling people here about it and how well they were treated. They are hoping to return in November this year with other friends. My son as well is getting married in October , and as of now is also hoping to return to the Cozumeleno for his honeymoon. Are you open in October?. What is so nice about the hotel is the fact that so many of your friendly staff have been there for such a long time and obviously enjoy the hotel. The Veranda Restaurant was superb, the food and service!! All the little things that have changed since the hurricane a couple of years ago really make a nice difference. If I might add one suggestion that would really improve the hotel, please put the small mini-fridges in the tower rooms as you have done in the older section upgraded rooms. This would be a huge convenience for a lot of guests, and I don't think anyone would mind paying an extra small charge for the service. See you soon Thanks again Ray | ||

| My best friend and I just got back from this place I dubbed as "my own paradise!" We had such a wonderful time and that is because this hotel and its staff are extremely friendly, attentive, and most of all very helpful! You made both of us feel at home. This resort is by far the best place in Cozumel. The food, entertainment, and especially the snorkeling area have to be the best on the island! Thanks El Cozumeleno for making our vacation one to remember! Sincerely, Christi & Amber | ||

| I just wanted to write a quick note to say our vacation more than exceeded my greatest expectations! This was our first time to see the ocean and it was the most awesome experience! Everything was just wonderful; the food; the service; the hospitality; the resort as a whole!! I am already planning a girls trip in the fall and another family trip next spring/summer! We cant wait to come back. Renee Prewett, Texas May 5-9, 2008 | ||

| Well, we have been home for a couple weeks after spending 10 wonderful, fun filled days at the El Cozumeleno Beach Resort, and we are ready to go back! The purpose of our trip was to get married, and we did that, as well as so much more! All of our guests for the wedding (36 people) really enjoyed themselves, which was wonderful considering I had basically picked their vacation for them! I would like to give an extra special THANK YOU to Mirabel, our group/wedding coordinator--she did an exceptional job working with us during the time leading up to the wedding, as well as when we were finally in Mexico! I must also thank the other group specialists that we worked with along the way: Genny, Adela, and Elva. Our wedding was absolutely wonderful, and I would do it the same way 100 times over! They are so organized and accomodating for what I was imagining my wedding day to be. One thing I would recommend if you are planning a wedding down there--ask specifics about the ceremony. This is something my husband and I had not done, and we were a little confused as the ceremony progressed. All the paperwork is completed first (bride and groom signing, 4 witnesses signing, legalities of being married in Mexico), THEN is the exchange of vows. Have your own vows prepared because they just ask if you take each other to be husband and wife, basically the "I do" part. The judge does give a blessing or homily as well. This is another person I would like to thank! I never got to shake his hand, introduce myself, or thank him! After the ceremony he was out of there pretty fast, so if you could pass on our thanks to him! Now for the wonderful stay and staff at El Coz! It started from the moment we walked through the front door with Isaisas, the Bell Boy, eagerly loading up our plethera of bags and waiting for us to get checked in. He was all smiles and so friendly--my husband was visiting him throughout the time we stayed there, he liked him so much! At the front desk for check-in, Brigido was very helpful and again so friendly as we got everything in order for our stay, as well as the other guests that would be arriving that day. Each morning that we had guests arriving, we would stop by the front desk and with Isaisas, to let them know which ones to be expecting, and they all were so great about making sure our guests would feel comfortable! The maid service on our floor by Manuela was great! She was always leaving cute little towel sculptures, or things made from flower petals for us. Always so friendly, and filling any request that we may have--and much like every employee we made contact with, ALWAYS smiling! All of the people that worked at the activities counter were great, but I would like to give a special thanks to Erwin for his work and help with the music for our wedding ceremony! Everything was cued right on time, it was plenty loud enough for people to hear, and being able to play the music we had chosen for our wedding day made it that much more special! While we did a lot of different things during our stay in Cozumel, most of our time was spent poolside with family and friends, enjoying the water, sun, fun, and company. All of the servers and bartenders were great to us, and there were a few that were exceptional! Thank you all (Noemi, Miguel, Jose, Fabian, Ezequiel) so much for your hard work in keeping up with our drinking, eating, spilling, moving, and all around rowdiness! I would like to mention special thanks to Miguel for his hard work at our wedding ceremony (he even helped with a few pictures!), as well as throughout the rest of the week! The staff at La Veranda was great as well! We had Fernando as our server most nights we were there, but all of the servers and hosts were wonderful. We would like to express an extra special Thank you to all of those that worked with our group on the night of the wedding! It was a big (and rowdy) group to serve, and everyone did an excellent job! We were so sad to have to leave, and wish that we could make more trips to El Coz than we will be able to, but be ready for us in 5 years because the whole group will be coming back! Thank You to everyone at El Cozumeleno for making our wedding/vacation an unforgettable event! Much Love from the Wagners! Mel and Bert | ||

| We just returned from a week stay at the El Coz. This was our 8th stay there and we again, enjoyed it! The grounds were well kept, service in all areas was very good, and the bird problems are getting better!. Would like to see a better variety of food in the outside restaurant & snack bar. Mr. Don Hose...."Pepe" the piano player in the main restaurant, was as always, very appeasing, tip him well. The front desk staff and Manager went out of their way to accomodate us. We call the El Coz our home away from home. Special thanks to chef Angel, the best fish tacos ever. The Capitan, Carlos was also very kind, and that loco waiter Jose, kept us in stitches. There are many kind folks there, we love them all. Claude & Kathy Dill Concord,North Carolina | ||

| I absolutely loved the El Cozumeleno resort! We had a girls only vacation and it could not have turned out any more perfect. I have already begun to refer my friends and family to your resort and I plan on visiting again sometime real soon! Your staff was absolutely wonderful! Everybody was always so happy and helpful, I wish I could have brought you all home with me! haha! Special thanks goes to Geronimo, the best DJ around! He was always so nice and polite. Your food and drink accommodations were second to none and the beach was absolutely amazing!! Room and maid service were also impeccable. I do regret only one thing, I never had a chance to have your cheesecake!! There's always next time, though! Thanks again, so much, for a wonderful time!! | ||

| Hola..from Cape Cod, MA. My husband, 12 year old daughter Sophia and myself stayed at El Coz April 15 through April 22…We had a blast! We met hardworking, beautiful employees and met some great guests from all over….I was so impressed by the constant care of the resort and the way they treated the guests. (us included) Our room overlooked the pool from the south tower. We took a day and a half (rented a car) to tour the island. I highly recommend this as we saw many different people and were able to drive the whole island and see it all !!! It was gorgeous!!! We miss our bartenders and wait staff. Cannot wait to visit again next year. Thanks for having us and we look forward to our trip in 2009! Maureen, Andy and Sophia. Maureen Hall | ||

| Just a short note of appreciation for the wonderful time that my friend and I had at your hotel during our stay in Cozumel. The hotel rooms were large and comfortable, the view from our balcony was incredible (room 1415) and the food was excellent. Your hotel is very clean and the property was kept in immaculate shape. Please pass on my thanks to the following people who made our stay very, very enjoyable: Fredrico - our Bell Boy who I chatted with several times during the week I was there. Anna - our Maid who was always smiling every single time that I saw her. Candy - the bartender at the lobby bar and the disco. We enjoyed talking to him about his life outside of work. Pedro - the "Waiter Captain" who handled reservations at La Veranda and joked with us and made us laugh often. This was my first time at your hotel and I can assure you that it won't be my last. Well done, sir!! Gracias, John Parr Washago, Ontario, Canada. | ||

We love you!!! and We will be back and we will be sending friends!! I have a friend here at work that is planning a wedding for her son...I suggested El Cozumeleno...I think that would make a perfect place!! Paradise!! Beautiful!! Thank you so much!!! | We just arrived home from our 2/8/08 to 2/15/08 trip from El Cozumeleno Hotel in the beautiful Cozumel. It was my husbands first trip outside the states and he could not have been more impressed with the island and the hotel. We found the hotel extremely clean, it seemed the staff was cleaning at all hours. We got by with the food, found something to eat each morning and afternoon. Ate at La Veranda a number of nights, which was top notch. Wished we would have eaten at the buffet italian night and mexican night. We were satisfied with the variety. They also had good snacks when we arrived home late at night (I guess that would be morning!).The pool area was our staple and we had fun and enjoyed how nice it was. We had a wonderful waiter at the pool, please let "ALDO" know he is a great guy!!! We also enjoyed the company of our other waiter "ANGEL". We rented a jeep from the hotel and it was a great idea and experience. We are already discussing returning to your fine hotel. Our compliments to your staff. We would recommend your hotel to anyone going to Cozumel.....thanks again Andy and Nichol Smith from Minnesota! Andy and Nichol Smith

| Hola, We stayed at the hotel from 01/19 trough 01/26/08. The best thing about our stay was the hotel and the views from the balcony. The food was great though it could have more variety. The staff was friendly. If you are a pool person this hotel is for you. If you are a beach person- there are rocks and going into the sea can be dangerous. We would suggest to buy water socks. We liked to get some stale bread from the staff and feed the fish from the pier. Snorkeling and kayaking was great too. We also liked Russel and Geronimo from the staff. We would recommend the jeep tour and the Fury boat snorkeling trip. Thank you for everything! | ||

| Here is my review of your resort.......We just returned home on Feb.1/08 after a week in paradise! There was 13 of us in our group, 3 children(10,11,12) ,2 young men(22,24), 6 of us 40 somethings and 2 grammies(age undisclosed, lol). Upon arrival we all found our rooms to be very spacious with quite the nice view. Most of us stayed in the newer South Tower. The rooms are a liitle smaller than the North Tower but the view is of the pool bar area and the walk to get to the "happening" side of the resort is much less. The Grammies in our group loved this aspect as they don't quite get around as well as they used to. The beds in the rooms are very hard. The ladies in our group did not like that at all but found if you "borrow" a louge chair cushion and put it on the bed it helped somewhat. The food at the buffet outdoor restaurant is okay. The selection is good but the containers used to hold the food are hard to work with. We found breakfast to be the best. For lunch what most of us did after the 1st day was to order food from the menu cards on the table. The clubhouse sandwich, burgers, fajitas and soups were all excellent. For dinner the gem of the resort is the fancy La Veranda restaurant. It's fine dining at its best. There is a dress code(pants and closed toed shoes for men). The service, presentation and food were all excellent. We ate there 5 of the 7 nights. It does take about 1.5 hrs for dinner to be complete but if you are not in a hurry, it's the way to go. The resort also has room service til 11pm. They bring that late night snack in about 15mins. Some of our group liked the room service for breakfast. Try the french toast,it's the best! The night life on the resort is very tame. There were 2 or 3 shows that were over very early. The disco was fun but not like in town. Our young men in the group would've like a little more action going on but after drinking all day in the sun most of our group hit the sack by 10pm. The gym equipment is in need of replacement or atleast maintenance. My wife found stuff to be loose and somewhat dangerous so use with care. The min-putt course on the resort was lots of fun. Very challenging at 1st but most of us are professionals now! The snorkelling at the pier was beyond belief. I've snorkelled at reefs before and this was almost as good. We borrowed the equipment from the dive shop(1hr usage, decent equipment) and went out daily. It's best if you can get someone to throw bread or chunks of banana in the water around you. The amount of fish there will amaze you! The side of the resort where the mini-putt course is very quiet. Nice spot to catch a little afternoon nap or if you just want to read w/o being bothered. The pool bar side of the resort is the place to hang out. We met a whole bunch of great people from Minnesota, Iowa & Wisconsin. Didn't see very many Europeans on this resort at all. The drinks served at all the bars we very tasty but not overly filled with alcohol. They actually use a shot glass to make their drinks. I've never seen that done before at an all inclusive resort. They have premium brands too! The Crown Royal seems to "run out" a lot quicker than the other brands but maybe that's becuase we drank too much :) What made this resort 1 of our favorite spots was the workers!!! They were very friendly, very attentive and their English was outstanding.....In closing I think we all would recommend this resort especially if you have children under 12 or if you older in age but not in spirit!!!.....Carmen and Randy Archibald & Amigos....Windsor,Ontario,Canada | ||

| Hola Amigo's.......My name is Heath Beeman and I am Shannon's brother from the wedding last week. My trip to Mexico was wonderful thanks to your staff and beautiful hotel. In my country I am the General Manager of a very famous Mexican Restaurant called "The Original Ninfa's On Navigation" so I know the value and importance of great service. Which is exactly what I received there at the El Cozumeleno Resort, everyone was so nice and I noticed that all the time someone is cleaning or working on the hotel to keep it beautiful. Overall I am so impressed I have told so many friends and customers of mine that they must visit this hotel because of my experience there. My sisters wedding was beautiful, I will be back many times in the years to come!! There was also some employees I want to mention in this email because they where so awesome!!! Geronimo, this guy was the best truly great he was so nice to the guest and always making sure everyone was enjoying themselves he is a treasure to your hotel. Mateo at the bar by the buffet is always smiling, good guy. Isaacs the bell boy at the front door he is also wonderful, so nice every time I got on the elevator he said hi and how was I doing? Really great!! Anyways please accept my sincere thanks for everything and know that I will be back and I will tell everyone how great you are!! Please tell Geronimo I said hi and thanks for being so nice to my family. | ||

| We had a wonderful time at your hotel. I just wanted you to know how very much we enjoyed our stay. I can't say enough about how good your food, rooms, staff and facilities were. Such a beautiful Island.....so much to enjoy, I highly recommend it to everyone! | ||

| I recently stayed at your hotel checking in December 21st and checking out Christmas Day December 25th. First of all I would like to commend you on the way you run your hotel. The accommodations were excellent, roomy, and clean. The service was exceptional, courteous and friendly. The food was plentiful, tasty and rivaling only the best buffets on the island. I was pleased you had a room for me and my cousin Kenneth Rietema under whose name the room was registered. Your hotel is the fifth resort I have stayed at on the Island and am certain of repeat business based upon this past stay. I also intend to recommend your hotel to my family with whom I travel frequently. Perhaps you can expect us already this April which is my nephew and nieces Spring Break from school. Thank you for a pleasant time. | ||

| I just want to say that the ElCozumeleno is the best. This was our third time there and it is the most beautiful place there is. We went with three other couples and had the time of our life. We were very glad to have the swim up bar open this year. We had a blast spending an evening there. I think that all the workers at the ElCozumeleno deserve a pat on the back, every single employee was awesome, friendly and always willing to help in any way. The Resort is beautiful and clean, and it is one of the most relaxing resorts. To anyone going for the first time, be sure to rent a jeep and check out the other side of the Island. Beware of Coconuts, the blue tequila can lead you to laying face down in the sand!!!! We will definately go back to our favorite vacation spot. Thanks again for a wonderful week. The gang from Kansas, Youngers, Augustines, and Gottschalks | ||

WE HAD A PERFECTLY WONDERFUL TIME AND WOULD LIKE TO MENTION A FEW OF THE PEOPLE WHO MADE OUR STAY SO PERFECT: MARTHA AT THE FRONT DESK JOSE - BELLMAN KELLY - CHEF PIANO PLAYER IN DINING ROOM ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES TEAM AND, ANA, THE GUEST SERVICES CLERK WE REALIZE THAT WE ARE NOT IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH EVERYONE THAT MAKES YOUR HOTEL SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE TO VACATION. WE KNOW THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES WHOM WE NEVER SEE BUT WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR APPRECIATION TO THEM AS WELL. THE ABOVE PEOPLE WE DID MENTION ALWAYS REMEMBER US WHEN WE ARRIVE. THAT IS A VERY GOOD FEELING AND MAKES US FEEL WELCOME, AS THOUGH THE EL COZUMELENO IS OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. THE ACTIVITIES NIGHTS ARE AWESOME! WE THOROUGHLY ENJOYED MEXICAN NIGHT, INTERNATIONAL NIGHT AND CARRIBEAN NIGHT. WE APPRECIATE ALL THE HARD WORK AND TALENT THAT GOES INTO MAKING SUCH EVENTS AVAILABLE TO US. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO COMING BACK IN FEBRUARY OR MARCH OF 2008.

| “Another Wonderful Stay at the ElCozumeleno” Sept 3rd –12th My wife and I travel to Cozumel twice a year, (September and April) and have truly found a second home at the ElCozumeleno. First of all I would like to thank three of the managers….Mr. Lorenzo, Mr. Philippe Fournier, and Mrs. Rosa for their tireless round the clock efforts to make everyone’s stay at this resort a memorable experience…It’s great to see that they will take the time out of their busy schedule to listen to the guest compliments , as well as their concerns, so that they can stay ahead of anything that would make the guest more comfortable on their visit. I wish I had a list of “All” the employee’s names that keep this place running so smoothly so I could thank all of them personally. The service and friendliness is second to none and they really make you feel welcome. Thanks Everyone ! It seems every time I visit, there is always something new. They now have free internet and wireless internet services available in the lobby. It sure was great keeping in touch with my friends back in the states while I was there….Giving them updates of current events as well as what a great time I was having and what to expect when they arrived. I happened to get up early one morning….which I seldom do, and couldn’t believe they had everything set up in the lobby for a great continental breakfast….Nice Touch for the early risers ! It was nice to grab a light snack with some coffee to take with me on my quiet morning stroll along the beach, or having that first cup of coffee overlooking the beautiful Mexican Caribbean….Priceless ! I thought the food was great at the buffet….In fact my wife and I gained 10 pounds while we were there, so you know we were never hungry. True there may be a few items that you may not care for, but all in all the buffet has definitely stepped up to restaurant quality and not just the same old AI food anymore. Here’s a tip. During the day you have “Four” options for your meals. You can eat from the buffet, or have some favorite foods from the snack bar, such as Hot dogs, Hamburgers, Fries, Onion rings, Nachos, ect. ect…or check out what they are cooking on the grill. Sometimes it’s the greatest fajitas you’ll ever have…or it can be the day they prepare the absolutely awesome Mahi. Now here’s the option that most people miss. Anytime during lunchtime right up until they close, there is a full menu available if nothing else suites your cravings, that will be prepared to your order. Simply check out the board at the entrance to the buffet, ask your waiter for it, or call for room service. Same thing at dinner when yet another option is added. You may choose to go to the restaurant inside, but you have to make reservations for this. Over by the Activities Center, they have a Large game room, an ample fitness room, there’s a machine where you can purchase phone cards, baby sitting services as well as a large pool with a waterfall that is covered by a large doom so you can get out of the hot sun as well as go in and relax on those days that there is inclement weather in the area. Just around the corner is the Dive shop. Make sure you go in and say Hi….. Antonio and his staff are a great bunch of guys that will hook you up with all of your excursions. Some of the boats will pick you up right at the hotel pier. Also, Antonio is also a wealth of knowledge about the island of Cozumel and the surrounding areas. A real good person to know and will assist you with any questions you may have. To be honest, I have stayed in other hotels around the island and visited a few and they were ok, but the ElCoz has everything I’m looking for while on vacation… Friendly staff, Close to town, nice beach with great snorkeling, good food, great drinks, house keeping staff keeps the place spotless, and just a real nice place where I can relax and just let it all go… all at a price that we can afford….Thank you ELCozumeleno for welcoming us into your home…..Be Back In April ! Allen & Darlene Morgan Clermont, Fl. AKA Morgy P.S. Any questions folks?? Don’t hesitate to e-mail me at Morgy@comcast.net. Always glad to help if I can… :o) | ||

| We just got back from a beautiful vacation at El Cozumeleno. First we have to say that we had to reschedule our trip because of Hurricane Dean. A few days before the storm, we called to see if we should come or reschedule. The representative was so honest and courteous. She advised us not to come and refunded all our money. We decided to come in September and had a great time. The staff were all friendly and helpful without being overbearing. The rooms were kept super clean and so were the grounds. The food was very good. There is so much food available all the time, there is no chance to get hungry. We had a great time and will definitely come back and recommend it to friends. We never left the resort because everything we wanted was right there. Thanks so much! The Swearingens, New York | ||

| Fantastic Experience, our entire week at ElCozumeleno was absolutely fabulous! I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would go back over and over. The staff is excellent and the entire grounds are beautiful. The food was good and the drinks, well to say the least, just kept on coming. If they were watered down as some have indicated, then I must feel pretty good on water! We had a marvelous time and can't wait to go back again and again. And also the best snorkeling on the north end of the island! We compared notes with others at the airport when we were leaving and we had the best of all worlds! Thanks to all the staff and Jose, you are the best! Lila McCarty and Garry Cain . | ||

| Hello, My husband, a friend and I just returned from a wonderful stay at your resort. Everyone was very helpful, friendly and accommodating to our needs. I have shown photos of the hotel, and many of my friends now want to book with you. I know they will be happy. We do have one point of concern, because it did make sleeping very uncomfortable. The pillows are so hard I slept with the bedspread rolled up as a pillow. My friend had a sore neck. I can live with a hard bed, but my friend was sore. I did hear other people at breakfast mentioning their pillows being too hard also. Thanks again for a great time. Carol Bomhoff Fay, Oklahoma USA | ||

| Well my family and I just got back from an amazing trip from Cozumel Mexico. We stayed at the fabulous ElCozumeleno Beach Resort. We have gone to Cozumel for 15 years and we have stayed at this hotel every time. We love it here. We know what we get, and we like it. I have to comment on the food, so delicious, and the service. Inside the fancy restaurant we made some very good friends like Willy and Angel. They were very good gentlemen to our family, and even played with our baby Harley. I also have to comment on Angel from the kids place. He is one terrific guy. While at our stay in Cozumel, at the hotel we wanted to make braclets and he would be over there helping us 100% of the way. He truly is an amazing guy. He would also play beach volleyball with our family. It was like he was our brother or something. He had good manners toward everybody, and was just full of energy. He has the best smile and loves to make you laugh. They day before we left our family went on a sunset cruise and he made my 2 sisters and I braclets with our name put in them. I could tell he took a long time to make them with love, and as much skill as possible. They were amazing. I will keep it forever. But, overall our family had a good time, except the stupid weather was a little cloudy but thast okay, and I would like to thank Angel for the braclet and everything he did to help our family wtih. he deservs to be recognized!! | First let me say we had a fantastic time at your resort from may 5th-10th.Everything was even more beautiful than the pictures, and everyone was very friendly. We especially loved the pool!. We stayed in room 1909 and was wondering if anyone may have found my husband's class ring.We can't seem to locate it,and wondered if we left it there. We also think we're missing a roll of used film. If anyone found one, could you please e-mail us with a response. We are already trying to plan to come again in a couple years, this time with the kids.Thank you for a wonderful vacation! | Mid-August of 2006 my brother and I searched the web to find the best All-inclusive vacation for the dollar. After much research, I'd chosen the El Cozumeleno Hotel in Cozumel, MX. It sounded like the perfect place and had lots and lots of positive reviews online. Upon arrival, we were jetlagged, hungry, and in desperate need of a cold drink of water and air-conditioning. Well, when we pulled up in front of the hotel, it was all downhill from there. The air-conditioning was up high (it was approx. 102* outside, what a relief.). Check-in was a breeze, room service was in lightning speed, and the view off of our balcony was breathtaking. During our stay, the staff treated us as though we were family. Ms. Ileana kept our room and water supply in perfect order. Ricardo in the El Cocal, as the pool staff, were attentive to our every whim, but not uncomfortably right up under us. In closing I would like to say that the El Cozumeleno is the jewel of the Caribbean, hands down. Sincerely, Samantha Harris | ||

| Just got back from a great week at the Cozumeleno. Just to ditto other comments: GREAT services, good food and comfortable room; although when we checked in and asked for a king bed the clerk wanted to know if we wanted ocean view, which duh. so the ocean views only had double beds (a little tough for my 6'4" frame) only when we were leaving did we find out that the older section of the hotel had the BIGGER rooms and KING beds and also an ocean view? don't know what differentiated the views, but heads up for those heading down and want the king beds. the one thing that stood out on this trip was the the prepardeness the hotel has for the unexpected weather. Saturday evening at around 5 we were having our drinks and looking across to the mainland at an amazing lightening show. by dinner time the storm was on the resort and raising hell. the wind was howling and the rain was horizontal. in short order the power went out and back up generators sprang to life. the staff never missed a beat in making sure everyone had a drink as they hurried about cleaning up and getting dinner up and running. no one panicked and dinner was only 1/2 hour delayed. Kudos to all the employees. -- Michael Turri | ||

| My companion and I spent 6 nights at this beautiful hotel the second week of May, 2007. The hotel is decorated in a very tasteful and elegant manner and architecture is of beautiful stone We stayed in the north tower and had a deluxe room which is enormous. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very firm but I adjusted after a few nights. The refrigerator was stocked (continually) with cold drinks and the terrace was large and comfortable. The room did have a moldy, musty smell but we kept the door open and the cross breeze from the ocean and hallway reduced the odor. The resort is well situated on the northwestern side of the island where you can see Playa across the channel. The water is just a stone throw from the hotel rooms and is just crystal clear. The beach is sugar white sand but a little rocky. However, the snorkeling right off the beach is wonderful! There are large piers that jute out into the ocean that break the current and calm the crystal clear water, to make for the best snorkeling I ever experienced. The food was good--to great (especially in the formal dining room) and the dining/buffet room is fantastic. It's right on the ocean with no windows so the breeze fills the room area--the view is fantastic. The staff go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay and are responsive and respectful. There are so many activities and things to do around the hotel and Cozumel and Manuel at the activities desk, is the man to talk with. He is so knowledgeable, considerate and kind--ask for him! . The entire staff is very involved in making the stay enjoyable and comfortable. So don't be cheap, take a few dollar bills to tip, as the staff really works hard and deserves it. I would highly recommend this hotel---I plan to return as soon as possible!!!! Sherri Morgan Dayton, Ohio | ||

| My fiance' and I spent 5 wonderful days at the El Cozumeleno resort, April 19th thru April 23rd. The beauty is just awesome! The hotel is clean, comfortable and the architecture is of beautiful stone. The rooms are also spaceous. The resort is well situated on the northwestern side of the island where you can see Playa across the channel. The water is just a stone throw from the hotel rooms and is just crystal clear. The beach is sugar white sand. The snorkeling right at the hotel has stone stair access, and there are large piers that jute out into the ocean that break the current and calm the crystal clear water, to make for the best snorkeling I ever experienced right at a hotel. The food was good and the staff that is at the hotel makes it very easy to access taxi's, rental cars, rental scooters and all sorts of activities. The entire staff is very involved in making the stay enjoyable and comfortable. So don't be cheap, take a few dollar bills to tip, as the staff really works hard and deserves it. The food is really good and is abundant. They will always, by the beach, make sure your drinks are full. They even put up a stage and put on a great show of various latin american countries and their themes. As an employee for a major airline here in the states, you just cannot beat their all inclusive package. We will definetely be returning to a paradise that is so close to home! | ||

| Hey Folks, My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 10 day vacation at the ElCozumeleno and I must say this hotel gets better every time I go.Check in was a breeze from the time I walked through the doors and saw to two smiling faces and received the hardy handshakes from the doormen, Jose and Federico, right to the front desk where I received a warm welcome from Nanci who had all the paperwork done in five minutes….oh yeah, don’t forget the Elcoz punch that is served to you as you arrive. I was in my room in ten minutes. I have to tell you I have been going to the Elcoz for many years, but have noticed the past year that more and more changes are being made to improve this hotel. Two of the managers, Senior Larenzo and Senior Phillipe constantly walk the grounds to keep this place improving everyday. Some changes are suttle, such as they have made the wrist bands smaller, and now can be covered with your watch in case you want to go out to dinner or hide it from the time share sharks, and is more comfortable to wear. Other changes are more drastic such as adding a completely new list of name brand liquors to all of the bars to make you the perfect tropical drink or one of your all time favorites. Here’s a tip….When you ask for a drink here, they will use the house liquor, unless you specify you want it made with a name brand. Just like it is done in the states. They don’t hide the stock, and they certainly don’t water the drinks down. I have personally witnessed them breaking the seal on the new bottles and throwing away the empties. The quality of the food has defiantly improved greatly. True there may be a few items that you may not care for, but all in all the buffet has defiantly stepped up to restaurant quality and not just the same old AI food anymore. Here’s another tip. Simply ask your waiter for it, or call for room service. Same thing at dinner when yet another option is added. You may choose to go to the restaurant inside, but you have to make reservations for this. You may have heard about the birds that sometimes fly through the buffet area trying to get a quick meal. This is an open air resturant, so of course they are going to. The waiters do everything they can to keep them out. The problem is, when the guest leave the covered food pans open, or their plates left unattended, it just draws the birds inside. Do your part and keep all foods covered, or don’t leave it on the tables unattended. The entire wait staff including my favorites, Marcos, Juan, Guadalupe and Jose, headed up by wait captain Francisco, are always eager to serve you, with the utmost respect, and efficiency that you would receive from a five star restaurant. On the rare case they may have overlooked something, just ask, and they will immediately respond to make sure your dining experience is a pleasant one. Here’s another tip….Always remember……a tip, even only a few bucks, is a very nice way to say thank you, and trust me the workers here sure appreciate your generosity. Talk about “Service”…My wife became violently ill from the Moldy, American Eagle “puddle jumper flight from Miami to Cozumel, and by the third day, she was only getting worse. We went to the front desk and asked Nanci if there was anything she could suggest that may help. She immediately called a local doctor, and explained the situation to him. My wife gave a brief history of the symptoms over the phone. The doctor said he would gladly come to the hotel, but was sure of the type of virus that my wife had. With that the doctor had two prescriptions sent to our room within the hour. Within 24 hours, my wife had a complete turn around….Let’s see you try that one in the states. My sincere thanks goes out to Nanci at the front desk and the local doctor. You defiantly saved our whole vacation. Almost every room at the ElCoz has a full or at least partial ocean view. The standard rooms in the south tower are comfortable four. More than four people, I defiantly suggest the Deluxe rooms in the north tower. Very clean rooms, and we had no problems with any of the fixtures inside. The housekeepers go above and beyond to keep it that way. The beds are a little firm, but I had no problem sleeping after a long day of playing. The grounds are very well maintained with workers working around the clock to keep this tropical paradise in top shape. The large beach is quite rocky just off shore from the storms washing the sand away. There are still a few places like the one next to the raised beach area where you can still walk in. The snorkeling right at the hotel is phenomenal. Last but certainly not least, Your first stop after you check in should be the “Dive Shop”.Make sure you go in and meet Antonio and his crew. A great bunch of guys that will help you with the planning of all of your excursions, and can answer just about any question you may have about the hotel or Cozumel. Antonio, you were defiantly one of the highlights of my stay. Gracias Amigo. We’ll be back in September. Any questions about the El Coz or the island, don’t hesitate to e-mail me at…..morgy@comcast.net See you in Paradise… Allen & Darlene Morgan. Clermont, Florida AKA Morgy. | ||

| We just returned home from our vacation to the El Cozumeleno, (week of April 20-27th). It was our 7th time there. Once again it was fantastic. I certainly appreciated the upgraded rooms that you reserved for us. They were super. As always your staff is second to none. The food was excellent, especially in the dining room. The menu has changed again for the better. The upgrades the hotel has made, even since I was there last November, are very nice. The mini fridges in the rooms is a very nice touch. My two children (ages 25 and 26) and their spouses just could not say enough nice things about the hotel and staff. I still cannot believe all the hard work you do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by setting up outside for the dinners. Please relay to your staff how much we appreciated it. Both my wife and myself as well as our children and their friends will be back to see you again. I never get tired of telling co-workers and friends about the El Cozumeleno and how it is the best vacation spot there is. Once again Thanks for your offer of the beautiful rooms. Sincerely Ray Jackson | ||

| My fiancée and I arrived last Wednesday, we were greeted with smiles and a well organized reception (including an orange/mango drink that really hit the spot). The Hotel was very clean and the air conditioning was cold. Our plan was to dive every day and that's what we did. The Scuba-Du team, right there at the Hotel was great, friendly, and experienced. We went out every day and never hit the same reef twice. I recommend going to see the sea turtles across the channel at ‘playa de Carmen’, if you get the opportunity. The dive shop was clean, had new equipment too rent (I only needed a BCD & Reg) and the staff was very helpful. Hose and Antonio go the extra mile to make your experience special and FUN. We also swam, played tennis, putt-putt golf, snorkeled and took a long walk on the beach which I didn’t expect. We went into town a couple of nights and every time the bell-hop had a taxi waiting for us, no delays at all. The food was good and plentiful; I appreciate getting the opportunity to dine in the dining room a couple of nights, it added a certain elegant atmosphere to our vacation. All in all we had a great time, I already recommended the El Cozumeleno to my co workers and Dive buddies. We will definitely be back again...Soon. Thanks | ||

| I went to El Cozumeleno for my senior spring break. Emmanuel from the activities team made it so much fun. There was bingo, contests, volleyball, and water aerobics. Also it is so close to town and everyone is so friendly. I can't wait to go back. | ||

| Just wanted to sign in and say we look forward to our visit in November! Your place looks great! | ||

| Our family of 10 stayed at your resort at the end of February 2007. We had booked our reservations through Apple Vacations seven months in advance, so we were disappointed when we first arrived when our party was not only assigned to several different room locations, but also did not receive the type of rooms we had requested. We had to argue with the front desk personel and not until our Apple Vacation Rep. assisted us did they finally switch our rooms so that we were close to each other. One word of advice, if you made a request especially as far in advance as we did, don't compromise because there are rooms available. When we said we had made requests at our booking, the front desk attendant didn't believe us and actually pulled out our registration form to verify it. We arrived at El Coz about 11 a.m. and got into our rooms about 4 p.m. which we wouldn't have minded if we would have been placed correctly. We also had one traveler that arrived later in the week, so I had verified with the front desk the day before that her room would be near ours. I was told it was, and needless to say it was not and did not have either a balcony or terrace as was advertised for all rooms. Other than the front desk, the resort service was exceptional and very friendly. The food was good, and La Veranda is definately the way to go for dinner. The pianist is wonderful, plays beautifully and made our dinners very enjoyable. One comment on the La Veranda, the dress code, which they have in place, however while we were dining they were several people wearing flip-flops, casual jeans and t-shirts. This doesn't bother me if that's the dress code, however it isn't so that should be either enforced or changed. I've been to and heard about other resorts that turn away people if they aren't dressed appropriately. The resort is well maintained and workers are constantly making sure it is immaculate. We stayed on the first floor in the south tower and the rooms were very spacious. The air conditioning units certainly need repair or undating as they are very noisy and kept us up at night. While everything worked in the bathrooms, they can use some modernizing and updating. This is a great hotel for any family group as everything is close together, and very casual. Aside from the preliminary headaches, we enjoyed vacationing on Cozumel and exploring the downtown markets, island and dolphin discovery and had a great time at the El Cozumeleno. | ||
| We just returned from there and had a wonderful time. This is one of the cleanest hotels that we've stayed in. There is so much to do there, you don't even have to leave the resort. The activities were great for everyone; children and adults. Be sure to make a reservation for the formal dining room. That food was fantastic. | ||
| We can only say good things about our return to El Cozumeleno again this year. We so look forward to going each winter and we just arent diappointed. We loved the changes this year. The staff there works so hard at taking care of each customer. We find plenty to do and lots to eat. But then we could sit and watch the ocean 24/7. It is so beautiful there. The only thing that could be better would to be able to go twice a year! | ||
| We just returned from another 8 day stay at El Cozumeleno and I must say, this was one of the best yet. After staying last April after Wilma, seeing what El Coz has done is simply awesome. The improvements are beyond description. The hard work and dedication they've put into getting the resort back in shape shows the character and personaltiy of the Cozumelenos. What a wonderful job. The resort looks awesome. The staff is as friendly as ever and provided excellent service throughout our stay. It is no wonder we continue to come back. We requested south tower and as high as possible and the rooms we wanted we ready when we arrived. Antonio had set up my dives for the week and I couldn't have asked for more. The food was better than we have remmebered. A definite improvement. Breakfast and lunch were great, lots of variety on the buffet and it did vary day to day. The lunch menu items were delicious. More people shoudl try the lunch menu. We also ate once in La Veranda. As we usually go downtown for the evening to eat, shop, and relax, we haven't eaten at La Veranda in 3 years. The experience impressed us. The food was excellent, the staff great, and we now realize we may have mised out over the years by not taking advantage of La Veranda at least once during our stay. The hotel and facilites were in great shape. The beach is much improved over last year and you can see Mother Nature is trying, just slowly. The constant work by the staff to clean and maintain everything shows. The rooms were clean, everything worked well, except for water pressure in the afternoon. It dropped sometimes, most likely from all of the guests showering before dinner :) Overall, this was one of the better times, if not the best, we have had at El Coz. We remain in awe of the staff at El Coz and the Cozumelenos in particular. We could learn a lot from the islanders back here. The only item I would rate low is the lack of Internet access at El Coz. I've put this on my feedback every year. With today's society, internet access, free or by fee is a must. If El Coz could get some type of internet access for the guests, the resort would be perfect. But that won't stop us from returning again and again. For our needs and activities, you simply can't beat El Cozumeleno. Thanks to everyone for a great stay, AGAIN! | ||
| We stayed at the El Coz in February for a wedding. It was absolutely wonderful. My son had a blast and the service was terrific. There were children's activities which really involved them. (My son won the musical hat dance competition!) The food was fantastic and there always seemed to be something to snack on. The staff was great and would help with anything you needed. Our south tower room had a beautiful view of the ocean and coast. I would recommend this resort to everyone and am planning another visit in December! | ||
| Our senior spring break was here and it was great for our age kids and the elders as well. there were kids our age there as well. i mean we had many things to do, the swim up bar, beach volleyball, eat as much as you want. There is snorkeling. Plenty of things for families and teenagers to do. Plus you are not that far from town, you can get a taxi and go into town. I know my friends and the families loved it and would love to come back. The service was great. All around it was a great place to be at and we had a blast!! | ||
| Too many kids and families, not enough young people. Nice place, nice pool and bar area, but not much of a beach, kinda rocky. Staff was cool. | ||
| -the wait staff was very friendly and attentive -the rooms were a nice size and so was the balcony (excellent view), but the room smelled like mold most of the time -food was ok, breakfast was the best meal of the day, the formal restaurant wasn't that great. All in all a very relaxing vacation at your resort. | ||
| We just got back from our 7-day trip to El Cozumeleno with our 2 teenage girls, and we have nothing but great things to say about it. We don't even know where to start with the compliments. Our weather was great with every day in the upper 80s with only 30 minutes of rain the whole week. The staff was phenomenal and extremely helpful. The activities staff did a great job with the special events, especially the 2 outdoor buffet nights by the pool and on the beach. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff was constantly cleaning and making things look their best. A huge thumbs up to everyone who works there! Food is always subjective, but we were very happy with the selection and quality considering we are pretty picky eaters. It's not 5-star quality, but what would you expect from a family-oriented resort? Like others have said, we felt that the breakfast buffet was the best meal of the day with many choices including your American favorites like pancakes, French toast, bacon, sausage, and made-to-order omelettes. The buffet lunch and dinner menus were good and the snack bar area (again featuring things like pizza, pasta salad, hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, etc.) was very convenient for a quick bite. And of course there's the very-popular soft-serve ice cream hut that was busy just about every minute of the day. We didn't try the formal restaurant but others said it was pretty good. The pools were very clean and didn't seem crowded even though we were there during Spring Break. Sometimes it was hard to get a lounge chair by the pool (and especially hard to get one under a beach hut) unless you got up early to claim your chairs by putting a towel, book or shoe on your chair. But everything was very nice and the wait staff frequently stopped by to see if we needed another pina colada, strawberry daiquiri, or Corona. Kayaking, mini-golf, the game room, and other activities were also fun for a quick diversion. The snorkeling area was very popular and we were there every day and saw plenty of fish. We had a room in the new tower with 2 double beds and a fantastic view of the turquoise ocean. The hotel provides 2 large purified water bottles each morning in your room which is good since they recommend NOT brushing your teeth with the tap water. The rooms were perfectly fine for our needs since you don't exactly spend a ton of time in your room with all the activities to do. Our only complaint was that the beds are REALLY REALLY firm. We found ourselves waking up a lot at night tossing and turning to take the pressure off our hips from the super-hard mattresses. The Front Desk staff is quick to help out with information about off-resort activities like golf, shopping in San Miguel (a.k.a. Downtown), Jeep rental (do it for a day to see the whole island on your own), and snorkel/SCUBA excursions. We definitely recommend El Cozumeleno for a great family vacation! | ||

| I returned back from El Cozumeleno a week ago and can't stop thinking about this gorgeous place. I did not get a chance to meet the owner, but I am impressed with his ability to hire 100% wonderful staff. Excellent accommodations and facilities, very clean and pleasant. Great food and entertainment. I was with three teenagers and a seven years old and everybody had a lot of fun. The activities team - Xiomara, Angel, Erwin, Arturo, Emmanuel, and Russell - was amazing. Wait for us, we will be coming back. Anna, you are the most professional hotel representative I have ever met. Thank you very much to all of you for making our stay unforgettable. | ||

| This was our first time to Cozumel. We have traveled to other areas of Mexico and decided to try Cozumel. After searching resorts for quite some time, my wife came across El Cozumeleno. Most all of the reviews were very good. We, along with 4 other families, booked our trip. 10 adults and 10 teenagers. One of the reviews said to ask for the "new tower" and we did. Rooms much nicer than our friends. We all loved the resort. A beautiful setting, nice beach area, and snorkeling right out front due to the pier they have. The staff was very attentive and grounds were constantly being swept and cleaned. The food was good. Breakfast and Lunch were the best with the dinners being about 50% good. Antonnio, at the Dive Shop was very passionate about his job and did his job very well. We took 17 of us on the Manta for the snorkel trip and it was the highlight of the trip. We, also, did the para sailing for the kids. I felt we were shorted on time and Anttonio made it right. Book all of your activities through Antonnio. Overall, all of our families really enjoyed our stay and would recomend it to others. | ||

| My friend and I just returned from a week's stay at El Cozumeleno! Loved it!! The staff was friendly and always there to pick up empty plates or offer a drink! The food suited our tastes . . . breakfast was the best meal of the day for us! The accommodations are AWESOME - our room and view of the ocean was incredible, the beach was great . . . crystal clear and gorgeous shades of blue! I know the hotel was booked to capacity but we did not feel over cowded! We can't wait to return!!! Thanks to everyone at El Coz for making this a relaxing, enjoyable trip!!!! | ||

| I have just returned from spending a week in your lovely hotel. I stayed in room 1303 from March 12 to March 16, me and my wife had a great and relaxing visit. You should be proud of your staff. I have traveled the world over and never have I seen a staff so dedicated to making their guest feel at home or taking the pride they did in keeping the hotel and rooms clean. we just want to thank you for a great week. Sincerely James and Jean. | ||

| I am definitely going back to this hotel. They have great service especially Ocean Tours dive shop. Antonio, the person who runs the shop, is so pleasant and honest. The dive crew are just amazing. Chris, Sara and Eric were so supportive and helpful especailly to the beginners. Everything is at a convenience. So close to downtown too. Only $5.00 by cab. I saw some hotels in the south side of the island and they were far. It would cost at least $20.00 to get to the downtown area if you do not have a car. Cozumeleno has very nice sandy shore. Lots of activities that you can book.Great place for those who have children. this sis going to be my second home. Love you guys! | ||

| I just returned from an awesome week in Cozumel... we had a group of 6 returning for our 2nd trip to El Cozumeleno Resort 3/18-3/25, and as we expected, it was another fantastic experience. The resort is beautiful and very well kept, and the staff are all wonderful. We were excited to see a lot of the same friendly staff that we spent a week with last year, and they exceeded our expectations once again. If you're planning a trip to El Coz, be sure to go see Antonio in the dive shop for all of your needs - he is wonderful, and has never steered us wrong with his suggestions of places to go and things to do. And be sure to talk to him about the sunset cruises aboard the Manta... we went on 2 of them and they were definitely highlights of our trip. Thanks to our wonderful waiters Jose and Paul, Oscar the bartender, and everyone at El Cozumeleno for making our 2nd stay there even better than our first... we will all continue to recommend this resort to everyone we talk to, and I know that I can speak for all 6 of us when I say - we WILL be back again! | ||

| Our stay at El Coz was March 9-16 2007. A great time was had by us and our 2 kids ( ages 9 & 5.) We all agee that this was the best vacation we have ever had and we are planning on coming back in 2008. The grounds are very well maintained and the entire staff is excellent. We like the fact that the resort is not too large. Thanks to everyone at El Coz for a great family vacation !! | ||
| My family and I just returned from a great vacation at your hotel. I give your hotel a hearty thumbs up especially for families with small children as the Kids Club was used often and is extremely well run. I had no qualms about leaving my kids there. Antonio in the dive shop was extremely helpfull and treated us with Royal customer service(Muchos Gracias Antonio). I would definitely stay again and bring my golf clubs as well as my dive gear. Thanks to all Ken Brigden | ||

| I have been home a week now and am still thinking about how wonderful my vacation was because of your smiles and your wonderful place! Tom and I took advantage of the free diving instruction and the instructors were very patient and informative. Snorkeling right in front of the resort, we saw a variety of beautiful fishes and we saw dolphins right outside the buoys. What great water! Every day Marabel, the smiling person who took care of our room - 1302 - made it fun to be in. It was so clean and there was always a towel sculpture to look forward to. Her attention made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was excellent! Not only was there a good variety and plenty of fresh food, the wait staff were the most attentive and positive smiling people I've ever met. I especially appreciated that the young waiter named Juan took the time to answer lots of questions and share a little bit about his life on the island with me. The week we were there Juan was training to work in the restaurant within the main resort. One thing I would like to mention is that the fresh, open air restaurant was my favorite place partly because of the birds. A little free language instruction from Angel and I felt right at home. Thank you, thank you, thank you! | ||
| Me and my family stayed in hotel March 4-11. I want to express my gratitude especially to Dive shop and Antonio - excellent manager, my wife wants to thank Angelo for Aerobics/yoga/ massage, and mydaughter Anastasia wants to thank Xiomara for excellent Kid club program | ||
| Just returned from a wonderful week (March 5-12)at the El Cozumeleno. This was our third trip to this resort and it was better than ever - especially the food service. The shrimp cocktail and ceviche bar was a bit hit with us. A big thank you to the staff of El Coz for making our trip one to remember. We will definitely be back next year, if not sooner. | ||
| Me and my boyfriend stayed at the "Coz" March 4-11 and we had a blast. Angel and Emmanuel made our stay so much fun. We played Volleyball and went on the Bike tour with them. Also our waiter Ruben was the nicest person I have ever meet. I miss it already and can not wait to go there again next year. The hotel was so clean and friendly. I absolutely loved it there. | ||
| STAYED AT THE "COZ" FOR THE FIFTH TIME- THIS YEAR WAS THE BEST EVER!!! THE FOOD IS GOOD AND THE STAFF IS WONDERFUL- VERY FRIENDLY AND EAGER TO PLEASE. WE EVEN FOUND A PARAKEET WHO WAS LOST AND INJURED- WE CAUGHT IT AND HANDED HIM OVER TO A STAFF MEMBER WHO TOOK HIM TO A LOCAL VETERINARIAN. GODZILLA THE IGUANA KEPT US COMPANY WHEN WE WERE AT THE BANANA BAR- HIS HOUSE IS EVEN DECORATED WITH A NICE HAND PAINTED SIGN. WE WILL BE BACK- MAYBE WHEN THE TAX REFUND CHECK COMES... | ||
| Our family of 8 spent from Feb. 24th through March 3rd at the El Cozumeleno. What a wonderful experience! Ruben our waiter, you are the best! Princess had a blast teaching you how to dance. We gained a friend. Antonio in the dive shop was a GREAT help. Loved the sunset cruise! The resort is clean, relaxing and all of the staff was wonderful. Thank you for a good time. We'll be back! | ||
| My wife, grandson and I stayed at El Cozumeleno between February 24 and March 3, 2007. The bottom line is we loved the resort. Our room was clean, the food was varied and good - at least to our "simple" taste, the pool area was fun with several depths, waterfalls, a bridge and, even, an island. The staff was accommodating and friendly. Bonus: it was fun to be able to enjoy a dinner show or watch a movie - under the stars. There is a surprisingly challenging miniature golf course on the property - no extra charge. It is a great place for kids, the staff keep an eye on them and try to make them feel comfortable. | ||
| It was our first time at the resort. It was beautiful and the staff wonderful, especially Delores, our maid. It was fun with a group of 14 and perfect for playing cards at night at the outside bar by the ocean! | ||
| It was my first visit to Cozumel, El Cozumeleno was wonderful! I visted 2-18-07 for 5 days 4 nights am already saving up to come back next year! THANKS :) | ||
| Thank you El Cozumeleno for helping us to have a wonderful vacation. Your hotel is very clean & very friendly. We enjoyed it much. Xiomara was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The maid, Dolores was very nice and good at her job. Great bartenders too! | ||
| Our stay at the El Cozumeleno Feb 16-23 was super. This was our 7th year in a row staying at the El Cozumeleno. The grounds and pools are very clean. The rooms are also very clean with beautiful views. The staff is friendly and ready to assist you. Paul the waiter at the large pool keeps your beverages coming, this fellow really know how to give "extra value added to you", tip him well! Russell in activities was also good fun. The food was much improved over years past, lots of choices to keep adults and kids content. Philipe, the food and beverage manager has really improved the taste and quality of the food served. We enjoyed the snorleling out in front of the hotel, viewed lots of beautiful fish. We will head back next Feb. again because of the continuing EXCELLENT service we get each and every year!!!!! | ||
| This was our first time to Cozumel. We were very happy with El Cozumleno. We spent 8 days and 7 nights in paradise!!! Muchas Gracias! We will be back!! | ||
| My husband, friends and I stayed at the El Cozumelno during February 6th - 13th. It was our first time to Cozumel and the resort really made our trip perfect. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the resort and care and kindness of the staff. The resort is run very well and there was always someone there willing to help us. Thank you and we will certainly be back! | ||
| I just returned from your resort last week. It lived up to every expectation. Thank you. I will definetly be back!! | ||

| WE STAYED FROM FEB 3RD TO FEB 10TH. HAD A GREAT TIME. RESORT STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. THANKS FOR A GREAT VACATION | ||
| My wife and I stayed at the El Cozumeleno resort January 29 - February 8 of 2007. It was our 12th visit to Cozumel and our 8th stay at the El Cozumeleno. We even spent our 25th wedding anniversary there in 1994. One day while walking the beach near Sol Cabanas Del Caribe, we ran into a distressed couple sitting in a pool of blood. The wife (Mary) had slipped on the rocks and landed on her head and wrist. I hurried back to the resort and found Erwin who got Roque and his medical kit. They then ran about 300 meters down the beach to assist Mary and her husband Robert. It was such a good feeling to see the couple in capable hands. Later that week, one of our friends also required medical attention when he fell ill. Roque and other staff members moved him to the shade, provided oxygen, arranged for a Doctor in San Miguel and obtained a taxi for the ride. Even though they couldn't find anything wrong with him, he still was ill most of the week. Thanks to your staff, things at the hotel went great. I would like to see that Erwin and Roque receive some recognition for their efforts. Also, all members of your staff for their help and concern. This is one aspect of the El Cozumeleno that you never hear of. Guests should apprecate that medical attention is available. I always read comments that their drinks were warm or service was slow. We have always enjoyed our stays at the El Cozumeleno Resort and will return again in the future. Your bell men, Jose and Fredrico are also great workers and fun to talk with. Thanks again for a great 10 days. Fred and Libby McGraw (room 1802) Minnesota, MN USA | ||

| MY!MY!MY! I have been to a few all inclusives and most definately you are at the top of the list. My husband and I were fortunate enough to have two weeks there and enjoyed every relaxing moment. We were in the South Tower, on the 6th floor and the room was quiet and clean and the view was to die for. Thank you to the entire wonderful staff for your exceptional service. Muchas Gracias. You made us feel welcome, like family, and we can't wait to see you again. Next winter!! | ||

| My family (husband, daughter, mother, brother and in-laws stayed at the El Coz January 11-19, 2007. This was our second stay at this hotel and will definately return. The hotel is immaculate, everything from the rooms, pool area, restaurants. The staff is remarkable, catered to your every need (my daughter had painted something from the outdoor painting station and we were not able to pick it up before we departed, so the staff had it hand delivered to us at the airport before we left----now that's classy service!!!) Luis, Edson and Walter were the best bartenders/waiters at the outside small bar. The food is great and the indoor dining restaurant has been upgraded and the food is fabulous. Definately get the tiramisu for dessert. You MUST go in and see Antonio in the dive shop for all your excursion needs. We went on the Sunset Cruise (2 times, the 3 reef snorkeling tour, parasailed, deep sea fished and jet skiied---all done through Antonio. All were amazing and the Manata boys (Catamaran crew) really know how to take care of you. I am already looking forward to another trip back to this hotel/island. Thanks El Coz for another wonderful, unforgettable vacation. | ||
| Love this resort, however, the beds are the hardest beds I have ever slept on. I suggest they invest in some memory foam toppers. Other than that, it is a nice clean hotel. The service is wonderful. One other thing, the birds....yuck. They fly in around the food, and I did notice one bird eating off the serving spoon from the buffet. | ||
| We just returned from El Cozumeleno resort and we had a blast. I can't say enough about the wonderful service that we received from everyone that worked at the hotel. They were all so friendly and helpful. I don't think the hotel could ask for better employees. We were very pleased with every aspect of the trip and wouldn't hesitate to return there on our next vacation. | ||

| We just returned from a week at El-Coz, our 5th stay there. Each time, both pre and post Hurricane Wilma, the resort has consistently improved. Besides the facilities, amenities, and sports, the friendly and gracious staff, from Nanci at the front desk, Wilberth and the waitstaff, Elsa and housekeeping, Antonio in the Dive Shop, all the bell and lobby staff, and all the numerous other employees work hard to ensure our stay is a pleasurable one. This also is reflected in the attitudes of the many fun guests we've met who are obviously also having a great stay. Til next time, Nick and Ann Flocco, Medinah, Il. | ||

| My husband and I just came back from a five day stay at the El Coz for our 10th Anniversary. We were super impressed and couldn't stop raving about the accomodations, people and the experience. We definitely will come back next year and bring our daughter. Thanks again for such a great stay! | ||
| We just returned from a weeks stay at the El Cozumeleno the week prior to Christmas and what a great time we had. The resort was very clean and the accommodations and view were outstanding. I can’t say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff were. The food and drinks were great too. I highly recommend making reservations for the indoor restaurant for your evening meal just to give you some added variety. We’re already planning a trip back and plan on staying at the El Coz. We used the dive shop located by the beach volleyball courts for all of our excursions and were happy with the price and service there too. Kendra Broken Arrow, OK | ||

| Just returned from our second visit to Cozumel and the ElCozumeleno this year. I must say the trip was GREAT ! Upon our arrival, the staff greeted us with hugs and welcomed us back. From the folks at the front desk to the waiters and room attendants, they all treated us like family. My wife and I consider the ElCoz our home away from home. You simply can't beat the service, hotel and it's people. My special thanks to all the staff that made this trip and all the prior trips so enjoyable. A special thanks to Mr. Huerta the manager, and to our dear friend and Mistro, "pepe", Mr. Piano Man.He does so much for the formal dining area, and not to mention the things he does for the Churches and Children in Cozumel. He is to be commended. It is a rare occurence when you find a place such as the ElCoz, that gets better every time. We can't wait to return this coming May or sooner!!!!!! Our Sincere Thanks, Claude & Kathy Dill Concord, NC. | ||

| We came with a group of 5 couples from Minnesota. Rawr, rawr, rawr!!!! It was a great stay. We have stayed at other Caribbean Resorts and I have to say the service and food was the very best we have experienced, not even comparable to our other stays elsewhere. The facilities were fantastic; clean and up to date. We will be back. I have to say, we cut loose and had a wildly good time; yet, next winter we are hoping to return with our 3 kids as there is something here for any type of group. We were in our room after an hour of landing at the airport, we never touched a piece of luggage, we never needed to go to the bar as the pool wait staff served our every need, the evening entertainment was fun, the disco was even better after 10:00 pm, and the sit down restaurant was fabulous. All there were friendly as we made great friends. Thanks for the much needed and appreciated trip away from the frigid Minnesota temperatures. Aaron & Serina Wilke | ||

| We just spent 4 wonderful days @El Coz.The front desk was very friendly and helpful.Whenever we called them for something they sent someone to the room within minutes. We thought the food was good and there was a great variety to choose from. The fajita bar @ lunch was our favorite. The rooms were clean and spacious. The view from our sixth floor room was awesome. We had a great experience with Antonio at the Ocean Tours Dive Shop. Everyone at the hotel works very hard to make sure that the guest have a pleasant experience. We can't wait to come back! Thank you, Michael Corbett | ||

| My wife and I recently had the great pleasure of staying at your all-inclusive resort (Dec 13-19) and I want you to know that it was the best experience we have had in many years of travel. We have stayed at many, many supposed 'all-inclusive' resorts that were at worst a rip off or at best bearable. Yours is the exception. The rooms were as advertised (we were amazed at the size and amenities), the food was wonderful, and I cannot express how impressed we are with your staff. Every expectation met, every detail exactly as promised. On a previous visit to Cozumel we roomed at one of your competitors which was rated five stars. Well, if they have five stars your resort is surely a perfect ten. I am telling everyone I know about our wonderful experience. We will be back! Terry Flanagan Broken Arrow, Ok USA | ||

| I can't speak highly enough about all of your wonderful people! My wife, our 5 yr old daughter, my mother-in-law and myself arrived at the resort at about 11:45 on Sunday, 08OCT06 and from that point until 15OCT06, 8 days later when we flew home, we were all treated like we were the most important people on the island. Your resort is fabulous, the pools, grounds, beach, miniature golf course and all other amenities are kept up in exceptionable fashion, in fact, the second night we were there, I was so excited that I couldn't sleep so I set out on the balcony of our 5th floor room and to my amazement, even in the early dawn hours, I could see the grounds keepers and pool maintenance people were still out, hard at work. The children’s activity and daycare facilities are second to none. And Last but certainly not least, I have to tell you about SCUBA DU, these guys are a group of highly trained, highly skilled divers that give FREE introductory dive lessons every morning at one of the pools on the resorts property at 9:00 am. Pepe and Eric both go very slow and methodically introduce and teach individuals the proper way to ensure a safe dive. | ||
| My husband and I just returned from a trip to Cozumel. We were fortunate to win a trip from Dillards in Houston, travel agent Joe Menendez, to your fabulous resort. Not only were we impressed with the beauty of it, but you provided delicious food and fun for all, including our 14 yrs old grandson. Our room 1515, was lovely. A warm and friendly face, Horacio, greeted us when we arrived and followed us to the taxi when we left. He is such an asset to your facility. thank you for your hospitality and we will recommend El Cozumeleno to our many traveling friends. | ||
| It hasn't even been a week and already wish I could come and visit you again. It was everything we expected and more. The wait staff was awesome especially Jose. He took great care of us pool side. The activities leader Laser was a blast and we enjoyed everything from Bingo to water volleyball. One thing that I had read is that there is no night life - The karaoke bar was a blast. We met a wonderful wedding party of about 30 to 40 people who made my last night great when my people all crashed out. I would recommend this to people who want to relax, party and even those who have kids. My little girl loved the Kid's Club and didn't want to leave. This is a very family oriented hotel but also caters great to adults. Don't miss the alligator @ the pool next door and take care of my little dog Coz. He was a wonderful stray that everyone should feed. He was very sweet and my little girl really enjoyed him. We have been to several AI's and by far the food here was the best. The indoor restaurant was the best - great food and great service. The dishes were most close to home with a little twist. (If you eat outside use lots of bug spray) The hotel is obviously wonderful but when we ventured out we found Cozumel to be a warm, friendly and safe place. We went downtown several times and never felt anything but at home. We ventured off to side streets and found this very interesting graveyard in downtown. My little girl even enjoyed seeing the culture of how they celebrate the passing of their loved ones. All in all it was our best vacation!!! Thanks to everyone at the hotel and the multitude of guests that we meet from all over the country that made our trip most enjoyable. And thanks to the great friends that we meet that were from Texas - we are already planning a get together. I know most people say they will call and don't but our date is set and I can't wait to see everyone again. Hope to see you all next year!!!! | ||

| I did a property inspection July 14th through the 19th. I have to tell you, it was the best one ever. The overall experience was outstanding! The booking process was made so easy by Pedro Armin, and Elva Martinez. The property itself is exactly what I want to send all my customers to including my large group in February 2007. The service was the best I have ever had in Cozumel. From the room service, waiters, bartenders to the front desk personnel all were very professional. The dive shop "especially Antonio" was the exception to all the other dive operators. I will send all of my Scuba Divers to your property due to the service you get from Ocean Tours. Our room was very nice, and it looked just like it did on the website. All the shows and activities were way more than expected. The sunset cruise with the fire show was one of the best excursions I have ever taken, and I have traveled for 12 years. Antonio´s professionalism with the customers on all the excursions we went on made the experience a great one. I would like to point out one other individual - the bellhop Quintero. He was on top of everything from the time we got there until we left. He knew our names the 1st time we came down from our room. Your property beat out another resort for my large group and all of my future Cozumel business. | ||

| We just got back from a wonderful stay at El Coz! Maybe I had low expectations from stories I had heard about other all-inclusive resorts, but, I was blown away by everything! First of all, what is there to complain about when you can just look out your room at the most beautiful ocean view!! The food was a lot better than I anticipated. If you can't find something to eat, you are too picky! My suggestions for people coming to stay are only, bring lots of $1 bills. I know it's all inclusive, but, the servers and staff are so awesome you feel horrible not tipping! We ran out of singles, and felt bad that we couldn't tip! Also, as another post mentioned, there is not clock, so make sure you have something to tell time. The sun went down really early for us, and came up pretty early too...Our internal clock was all thrown off, and I'm glad we had our watches so we knew we could sleep a little longer before we would miss the snorkel tour! Oh, bring bug repellent for the evenings. My husband didn`t have a bad time with the mosquitos, but, I got eaten alive at night. We got some wipes from another couple we met, and they helped a LOT! And, last but not least, we went downtown once during the day, and once after 6:00...the prices really do go down by 50% in a lot of shops after 6, so don't waste a cab fair if you just want to shop! If you have already booked your vacation for the El Cozumeleno, you will be more than happy. If you are hesitant, don't be. It is probably the best resort on the island! | ||
| Thanks to all your staff for the best trip ever from your new friends,Denise & Shay. The resort is beautiful, exceptionally clean and pretty. We were there for 5 days in April, and haven`t been able to write before now, because we were too sad that we had to leave. All our needs and wants were anticipated and met. The activity guys were lots of fun, our housekeeper was sweet and kept our room inmaculate. And all the waiters were great too. We enjoyed the disco and all the activities and the shows. And of course the food and drinks were excellent. We specially liked our scuba trip (first time for doing that) and our Sunset Cruise on the Manta I. Those guys know how to show you a real good time !! We can´t wait to come again and are planning a trip for March. Thanks to ALL ! | ||

| Hola! Me llamo Jura Nukuto. | ||

| My wife Lori and I just recently returned from our beautiful honeymoon at El Cozumeleno. The resort was top of the line and the rooms and amenities were the best. Always friendly and very helpful, the staff made everything run smoothly and made our stay worry-free. We plan on returning next year with my son, as the resort is also very child friendly with so many activities for the children to do. We're also working on getting other family members to join us and enjoy the resort and island. Thanks again for the time of our lives. | ||
| I just wanted to let you know my husband and I had a great stay at your hotel. Everything was so beautiful, clean and the staff was very friendly. We do hope to return in the near future and I have been telling everyone what a great place you have there. | ||
| My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon at the El Cozumeleno! It was the most awesome time that we have ever had. I was really scared about traveling out of the country, after arriving at this resort, all my worries disappeared! The staff is wonderful and so helpful. The rooms are huge and VERY clean. All the staff has smiles on their faces all the time, they are truly AWESOME people. The food was good and there was ALWAYS enough at all times. If you go hungry or thirsty at anytime during your stay here it is your own fault! We have already started making plans to return next year with our 4 children. I have not a worry in the world about returning with our kids, this is a real family place. Thanks guys for all the memories that you have left me with for the rest of my life and for a honeymoon that was heavenly!!!!!! | ||
| Our family just got back from Cozumel yesterday and for the first time our children were not ready to go home from vacation. I work in the retail industry as a manager and I can say your staff was topnotch. All the employees were dressed neatly and were polite to the guest. I think Americans can take some lessons from your staff on their work ethics. My daughter and I met Sergio (front desk) one night and learned a lot about the island and the El Cozumeleno itself. He told us he was going into Hotel Management School. His people skills are excellent! The snorkeling tour was great and I got to see some interesting fish. I would highly recommend this resort as a great family place to stay. We are planning on returning next year.Thanks. | ||
| We would just like to say how wonderful the hotel is! We stayed for 7 nights and 8 days for our recent honeymoon (June 28-July 5). There was a surplus of activities and the hotel staff was wonderful. The amenities left very little to be desired. I would suggest that when you visit you go to the dive shop and sign up for the sunset cruise and snorkeling trip, we had a wonderful time, thanks Antonio and the Manta boys! We are already planning on coming back in 2 years but this time with our entire family. I am strongly urging my sister to take her honeymoon there next July as well. The food is delicious and the special dinners and entertainment were amazing! I highly recommend trying the restaurant La Veranda at least once, its delicious! Thank you for making our honeymoon so romantic. | ||

| My husband and I and two daughters just returned from the best vacation of our lives at the El Cozumeleno! Virginia is so boring now!! The accommodations are wonderful, the staf superb and the rooms beautiful and clean. We have never felt more relaxed on vacation or been treated so kindly! Thanks to Paul and Caesar for wonderful service by the pool. Claudia, our housekeeper, created wonderful towel sculptures that we so admired. Rene in the restaurant always remembered our names. The staff works so hard to ensure an entertaining, relaxing and safe vacation. We loved the food....specially the omelets in the morning. The pool was pristine and the Caribbean sea water warm and loaded with fish. The convenience of the dive shop with it's included offerings (snorkel gear, kayacs, lessons) makes this the place to stay. Every afternoon Sergio introduced Los Lonely Boys' "Heaven" and we have set our CD of vacation pictures to that song because our memories of El Cozumeleno are heaven. Thanks to everyone.....We'd come back tomorrow if we could!! The Moores from Alexandria Virginia..... We also appreciate the prompt response to the unruly teenage group that caused quiet a disturbance in the wee morning hours last Friday. You guys got right on it and we did not near a peep at 3 AM again! | ||

| Just returned from a 5 day stay at El Cozumeleno and once again they did not disappoint!!! I, along with friends, have stayed at this hotel for 7 years in a row and it just seems to get better every day!!! From the wait staff (most notably Elidia, the waiter who is always fantastic!!) to the dive shop (Thanks Antonio and the whole Manta crew!!), everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful!!! The housekeeping was great and always guaranteed a clean room, even with 3 females in it!!:) El Cozumeleno is a place that always makes you feel safe and at home!!! We were so happy to see the place survived "Emily" and "Wilma" within the same year to come back better than ever!!! Love the hammocks on the beach!!!Thank you all again for a great stay and as always see you next year!!!!! | ||

| My party of four just returned from a fabulous time at the El Cozumeleno after a three day twenty-first birthday celebration for my Son. I read a lot of reviews from websites regarding this hotel and things that people liked and disliked about it and was a little apprehensive after I booked it. Our first impression of your Hotel was, wow, that's a nice one, I wonder what it's called? Oh, it's Our Hotel! It's definitely the nicest one that we saw while touring Cozumel. Of course that was just the beginning because once we stepped out of the taxi we were greated by Worry Free and Hotel staff. We were very impressed that everyone was so nice during our stay. The staff appear to really enjoy their job and smiled all the time. The food was fine, the room was comfy, the pools were great, and the island is really a beautiful place to visit. Actually the only complaint that I had was the lack of a clock in the hotel room. But heck who cares, we're on vacation! Great job and thanks for the memories! | ||

| Wish I could express in words how much fun iI had during my stay at El Cozumeleno. I have NEVER been on vacation and had so few worries. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating and polite. The room was enormous and what a view! The food was great and all of the planned activities gave plenty of options. I even heard a few teenagers say they had "plenty" to do. Now, that, in itself, is a HUGE compliment. I took advantage of the pool scuba lessons and decided to go on and do the beach dive. How special that was!. Marco and his team of diving instructors were super!. Special thanks to Opal, who made sure I felt comfortable at all times during our 50 minute dive. Everyone I saw in line at the airport, downtown shopping, and on the flight home had to hear about El Cozumeleno, its amenities and staff, etc. I did notice it was one of the few hotels that had a beach on the island. Thank you so much. I loved the experience and you certainly have reason to be proud. | ||

| My husband and I stayed at the El Cozumeleno May 5-8 of this year and what an awesome time we had. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is all great and super friendly and Jose in the lobby said NO Worries and that is how it felt there. It was my first trip out of the U.S and I was a little nervous but I can wait to go back I think about it everyday. Tell everyone thank you for an awesome time. | Hi Jenny: (Groups Department) I first want to thank you so very much for all you did for my group while we stayed at the El Cozumeleno hotel. You were so kind, sincere, thoughtful, and gracious to all of us. My group had a FANTASTIC time and ALL wanted you to know this. They too appreciated all you did to make our stay at the hotel the best it could be. Allowing us to have our dance parties out by the pool and in the hotel lounge was very special to me. As you could see, we do like to have a good time. It was the best retirement party anyone could have. Please tell Mr. Jose' Luis that ALL, everyone in my group, wants to come back next year. I think my group will even be larger. They all wanted me to say that if they do return to Cozumel, the El Cozumeleno will be the only hotel they will stay at. The rooms were incredible. Clean, bright, large, beautiful views, just perfect. AND the staff at the hotel were GREAT. Everyone seemed so happy to work there. AND they made all of us feel special. From Juan in the palapa restaurant, to Willy who took out pictures, ALL were wonderful. Our maid was so gracious. Always smiling. Always trying to make us so very comfortable. I have traveled to 16 countries in Europe, stayed in countless hotels throughout Europe; traveled throughout the U.S.A.; and 14 trips to Cozumel. NEVER have I stayed in a hotel that is equal to the El Cozumeleno. I guess there is just one thing to say about the hotel. THE EL COZUMELENO IS THE BEST HOTEL Again thanks to you, the staff, and Mr. José Luis Huerta Sincerely Clay A. Menard | ||

| To Whom it may concern: Last week, my daughters and I had the pleasure of staying at your resort. It was the BEST vacation we ever had! I Was little hesitant to travel out of the country with my daughters and without my husband. Your resort made me feel safe. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation. Your facilities were very clean. The activities were fun. The variety and amount of food and drinks were plentiful. Most impressive was the quality of service. The staff at Cozumeleno was friendly, joyful attentive to our needs, and humorous. They made us feel like family. We have NEVER received such great service ANYWHERE- even in our own country. Please extend pur appreciation to Enrique, Sergio and Laiser in the "Activities Department"; Willy in "Photography"; Antonio at the "Dive shop" and the "Manta" Crew; Paul the "Poolside Waiter" and Lorenzo "The Manager". Although I never had the chance to personally speak with Lorenzo, he is someone I would trust as my own personal body guard and protector of my daughters. I know that may sound a bit "forward and silly" but he is very observant and discerning of people and their needs and his staff appear to respect him. Unfortunately, we did not get to learn the names of the other employees who were so generous to us. All the staff we encountered was good to us. The staff at Cozumeleno seemed to enjoy their job and like their supervisor. That says a lot about management. I would not want to stay at a resort that did not treat their employees well. I would not want to stay at a resort where the staff´s gretings and service is faked or forced. You care for your staff and clients and it shows. Although, there is not much room left for improvement, I would like to offer a few suggestions: - Onsite ATM (I wanted to tip the staff more.) - Child size Bicycles - Better quality of Bicycles and Helmets -"Card less" towel rental -"Slip less" grates or other materials placed where the dock and the beach meet. (I slipped and fell there - fortunately I din´t get hurt - it was actually quite funny - would have made a great home video!) - Bird Patrol and / or better food protection in the outside restaurant. I have not stopped talking about Cozumeleno since my return to the USA. I would recommend your resort to ANYONE. We want to make our visit to Cozumel and Cozumeleno an annual family tradition and invite others to come with us. Thank you again for enjoyable vacation memories that my daughters and I will treasure forever. Sincerely, Lena Tracy Canyon Country, California | ||

| I just wanted to let you know what a FANTASTIC time we all had in Cozumel. Everything was perfect, we could not have asked for a better trip and a better time. The hotel staff was wonderful. It was absolutely the best vacation I have ever had. I will definitely be in touch when we want to go back. Thanks for all your help and support. You will be highly recommended. | ||

| We just returned last night from Cozumel and the El Cozumeleno, and having stayed there several times before, this trip was terrific. The staff, many of the same, were as happy to be there as we were and showed it through their great smiles & service. The hotel has several changes since Wilma, and has been redone nicely. The management have focused on superb service. The rooms are very clean, freshly painted and new everything. The grounds are beautiful and they are working to enhance this each day. The food was good with new items added from last years visit, and the food in the La Veranda ( formal restaurant) was superb. Be sure to get yourself a seafood or shrimp cocktail from the El Cocal, made to order each day, terrific!!! Enjoy dinner and piano music in the La Verando featuring Don Jose', he is a great composer / player. Our thanks to the staff & management for showing & caring about your guests. For those of you thinking of going, you will be glad you did. It is rare when you leave somewhere special like this with a tear in your eye and a lump in your throat. | ||

| We wanted to drop you a line and let you know what WONDERFUL time we had in Cozumel. We absolutely loved everything about the trip. The accommodations at the El Cozumeleno were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it all. I am sending some pictures to you as well to show you how much we loved it! Thanks for all your help. I'm sure I will be calling you in the near future. They were GRAND days! | ||

| You have outdone yourselves again. We stayed at El Cozumeleno April 15-23rd. We had a great time. The entire staff, from the front desk, to the waiters and bartenders to the maid service and dive shop were extremely kind, helpful and worked hard to ensure our every need was met. The hotel looks wonderful. The hard work and effort you have put into rebuilding since Wilma has definitely paid off. The new additions and the remodels are wonderful. This was not our first visit and will definitely not be our last. We will be back. A special thanks to Antonio and his staff at the dive shop. We hade 4 days of terrific dives and we very pleased with the service. The divemasters, crew and captains were very professional, safety conscious and did everything to make our dives enjoyable, safe and eventful. Our hats are off to everyone at El Cozumeleno for a job well done. You can be proud of your efforts and can be reassured we noticed and will continue to return. If there is one recommendation, it would be to offer internet access. Email and internet access go a long way for many of us to maintain contact easily with our family, friends and unfortunately, work J Chuck Charles K. Moneypenny Colorado Springs, CO 80911 | ||

| We just got back from our wonderful Spring Break vacation and couldn't of spent it in an better place. This was our 2nd time at El Coz, and of course we will be back next year! Great service, great rooms with ocean views, great food. great resort, period! Hello to Willy Leon and Paul Dominguez, two wonderful people that make the visit a fun one! | ||
| My friends and I just got home after staying at this resort 3/18/06 to 3/25/06. This place is fantastic!! The resort is beautiful, our rooms were spotless every day thanks to the great housekeeping staff, there was always something fun to do at the resort, and the staff was FANTASTIC. Antonio in the dive shop is terrific, and if you stay here, make sure you see him about reserving your spot on a sunset cruise - it's definitely something that you don't want to miss!! This was a great vacation, and we will definitely be back at this resort again - it was WONDERFUL!!!! | ||
| My family and I stayed there between 3/22/06 - 3/26/06 for the first time. My children enjoyed the pools and activities provided for them. The resort was in great condition. The area around the resort was in need of repair. The golf course was in excellent condition. The staff were wonderful. Two of the days were a little windy, but manageable. I would like to thank Antonio at the dive shop for setting up my fishing trip. I had the opprotunity to bring in a 60+ pound sail fish on 3/25/06. The fishing crew were friendly and puton big fish. The boat/equipment were top notch. | ||
| We have been to El Cozumeleno twice and they were our best vacations ever. The hotel and staff were great. We were in the South Tower, the bottom right room on the lefthand building. So everything, from the shows, eating, and especially the pool were right there. During the shows, we sat on our terrace and the staff waited on on there! This was before the hurricanes, so we were waiting for everything to be ready again to go back, probably next year. But from all the hotels we checked out or in talking to people, this is the best hotel to stay at. CANT WAIT TO RETURN!! | ||
| Seven of us were there the first 10 days of March and had the time of our lives. The rooms, food, pool, drinks, and especially the hard working, friendly, effecient staff made our stay enjoyable. The ocean view rooms are large and kept very clean. I liked the way the bathroom and dressing areas are kept separate from the sleeping area. The ice cream and ameretto were tasty and I'd be back for some tomorrow if I could. | ||
| All i have to say is good things about this wonderful hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed from march 4-11 on the 9th floor. Absolutely beautiful view, wondeful food, more than nice people (who most likely get underpaid and still go out of their way to see you smile), great beach, nice hammocks, great setup of activities, good drinks. Honestly, this place couldnt be any better. The hotel's employee's english is slightly rusty, but I had no problems interpreting. ENGLISH IS A HARD LANGUAGE, cut some slack! haha. I could talk for hours about how great this trip was to the El Cozumeleno but the most important thing i can say is if you're heading to Cozumel, make SURE you stay at this hotel, you won't regret it and it will be WELL worth your money. PS, tip the maids they work hard to make your room special! | ||
| My family of four. Ages 44, 44 and 18 (boy) 15 (boy), stayed during the week of March 11-18, 2006. AWESOME is the only word to describe the experience. "OKIE DOKIE - Minnesota in the house" (leysers terms). Things that are awesome: Very Very Clean and big rooms. Activities team of Leyser, Joel, Fun! Food is All inclusive food. We went out a couple of nights to town to break it up. The Steak at La Varanda was SUPERB! The shows were good. No email, no voice mail, clean and friendly, beautiful waters of the Carribean, Cruise ship morning parades going by the resort. A few spring breeeekers 2006 to laugh at. AWESOME. I would recommend from the gang from Minnesota. | ||

| We just got back from a WONDERFUL weeks stay at the El Cozumeleno, (3-9-3-16-2006) This was my husband and my 2nd trip here,as we stayed here for our honeymoon 3 years ago.Other than a small amount of left overs from the hurricane, the place was as terrific as we remembered it to be. We travel to Mexico every year (for the past 6 years) and this resort is AAAAAAAAAAA #1 in our book. The whole place is so relaxed and comfortable, and every need is taken care of promptly and in the best way possible. The staff is top notch and that is the reason everything is so wonderful. The food, drinks, rooms, atmosphere and surroundings are spectacular. We are planning a move to Mexico, and Cozumel is #1 on our list, Thanks to the El Cozumeleno. Also, Leyser, Atl, Patty and all the rest of the entertainers are terrific. Not to mention Willy , who is one of the sweetest people we have ever met, and he does a terrific job at making you feel special and happy, and he takes great pictures. We love you Willy :) We will return, if not to stay at El Cozumeleno, to live and we will definitly visit all our friends their. Thank YOU for a Great trip and WONDERFUL memories. | ||

| We just booked our trip for the end of April/ beginning of May. This place is awsome. It'll be our third year in a row. | ||
| Just returned from 7 days (March 12-18, 2006) at El Coz. My wife and I had a super time. All the concerns of Wilma's impact regarding a good time were irrelevant. The place was in great shape. The people were fantastic. I should have known by "The Wilma Album" of Antonio (see http://antonioscozumel.com/index.html) that all was well. In fact, if it weren't for Anotonio and his web-site photos, I may have gone elsewhere. Thank you Antonio (in the Dive shop) and all of the El Coz people! | ||
| We just returned Monday March 13, 2006. Had a great time. Hotel was amazing, service was great, never an empty glass. Went fishing one day and caught some Mahi Mahi, and they cooked it right up for us in their kitchen. Our 12 year old son barely got out of the pool, he met several other kids his age and they hung out the whole trip. I would definately recommend this hotel to friends, family, anyone. CANT WAIT TO GO BACK!!! | ||
| My family and I went for a week and had the best vacation we have ever had. The people were the nicest people you ever want to meet. The food was great. I hope we can go back next year. If you go don't forget to talk to the guy at the dive shop------Antonio! | ||
| I just got back from my second spring break in Cozumel although this was my first time at the Cozumeleno. The resort as a whole was an amazing time and there was always something fun to do wether it was pool volleyball, themed dinners, or just hanging out in the hammocks. I expected the food and drinks to be subpar because it was an all inclusive deal, but I was completely wrong. The food was always delicious and the drinks were in no way ever watered down. In the end, I would recommend this resort to anyone and when I go back (hopefully next year) I will definetly be staying here again. When I arrived through my travel rep (funjet), I was given a yellow sheet that had a bunch of delas listed for scuba diving, cruises, snorkeling, etc... DO NOT BOOK ANY OF THESE DEALS! Go see Antonio in the dive shop which is right on the beach of El Cozumeleno. He's the person you should be booking trips with. The travel agents trick you by giving you a sheet that's the same color as the one you get when you check in. The one Cozumeleno gives you in a white envelop is Antonio's and should be the one you use. The deals listed with the travel reps are in no way connected with El Cozumeleno and also dont even come close to offering trips that can compare to the dive shop's. So after arriving, THROW AWAY the offers your rep gives you and either look at Antonio's sheet in the white envelop or better, go speak to him yourself. He is very knowledgable with SCUBA dives, snorkeling trips, and the awesome Night Party Booze Cruise to name a few. I booked 3 dives with him and went on the cruise all of which was worth every penny. All in all, go to this resort and you will have an awesome time no matter what the age group and please go talk to Antonio. | ||
| We stayed March 8-15,2006. For our 10 year anniversary with our friends who got married the same year. What a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is everything anyone would wish for. There are plenty of things to do, snorkeling, swimming, volleyball and of course drinking. You know you are staying at a cool place when they meet you at the desk with a beer when you check in. Joelle, Leyser and Willy are a blast the keep you busy. Also the waiters are great, all of them make sure your glass is never empty!! Good Job Paul & Jose!!!! We will no doubt about it be back to stay in 5 yrs. You always have clean towels and water and the meals are great. The ice cream machine makes a great touch too!!! AAAAAA++++++++++++ | ||
| We spent a week at your hotel feb 18-25 and had the best time. The hotel is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. The staff is wonderful so friendly and helpful. My kids enjoyed the kids club and Atl is so amazing with the kids. She also did a wonderful job with the shows on Mon, Wed and Friday. My kids loved it. The activity staff is so funny and really work hard to make sure people have a good time. We hope we will be able to come back next year. This place is paradise. | ||
| I visited this webpage, really interesting. A VERY NICE SITE KEEP IT UP. This website is very good, simply the best! | ||
| We just got back from a week with 3 kids, ages 10, 7, and 4 in early March, 2006. The service was excellent, the rooms spacious and clean, and the pool great! The new sand was arriving as we were leaving, so I'm sure the beach will be perfect soon. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon! | ||
| I just returned from a stay 3/5/06-3/09/06 and it was fantastic! The hotel is amazing. The staff is top notch as is the hotel itself. Everything seems to be up and running following the hurricane. There is a wide variety of food offered and the drinks are plentiful. The pool is beautiful and the beach/ocean is just a few steps away. There is always something going on if you choose to participate, or there's definitely a beach chair and sun if you like the more relaxed route. The rooms are nicely kept. They are good sized and are kept very clean. The view is spectacular. In an ocean view room you overlook the pool/restaurant area with the ocean behind it! Beautiful!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing time away from home. If you have any specific questions, e-mail me...I will be happy to answer! | ||
| I am sooo glad to hear that everything is back up and running. Me and my husband got married October 1, 2005 there. We absolutely loved the hotel. I cannot even begin to tell you how awsome the staff is there. We had around 40 people, adults and children, and the hotel made every one of my guests feel the same way. We originally planned to get married on the beach, but Tropical Storm Stan decided to pay us a visit the day of the wedding, so the hotel actually cleared out the outside restaraunt for us and we had the wedding with the beach in the background. It turned out beautiful. If anyone is considering getting married her, I give a big thumbs up. Also, you need to get in touch with the wedding coordinator Stephanie. We couldn't have done it without her. She is AWSOME. If you would like to see pictures, e-mail me and I will forward them to you. | ||
| We stayed there from Feb 22 to March 1 with 21 people. Had a great time. The service was fantasic, the people nice the weather was great. The food was good and plentiful and the drinks fabulous. Would go back in a heart beat. | ||
| The scuba instructors were AWESOME!!! | ||
| I just returned from visiting the El Cozumeleno. It was fantastic. Everything is new and bright. I will be taking a group of 67 in June and cana't wait to go. Everyone at the El Cozumeleno should be praised for what they have accomplished in the lat 4 months. I have visited Cozumel many times. You will not find a better hotel. | ||
| El Cozumeleno was an awsome resort. Everyone there was very friendly and accomodating. I couldn't have asked for a better time!!!! | ||
| We had the most perfect time in Cozumel. We stayed at the El Cozumeleno from Feb. 23 - March 2. The hotel was BEAUTIFUL... The food was excellent, and the drinks were Ummmm Ummmmm Good...... You could see that some of the rooms weren't all ready for guests, but that was the only sign I seen that the hurricane had touched this hotel. This hotel really went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. You could see the damage from the Hurricane on either side of the hotel, and some places around town, but you could also see how hard they were working to get everything back to pre-Wilma. I was so impressed with the hard work that was going on around us as we relaxed and enjoyed our vacation. We are planning on going back to this hotel next Feb., and after my 2 sisters seen my pictures, they are going also. I would give this place 5 stars.... | ||
| We just returned from the El Coz. Stayed 2/25 thru 3/4/06. It was GREAT! We were in room 1510 (5th floor) ocean front room (very clean) and the view was beautiful!!!! Food was good and the service was OUTSTANDING! As soon as you finished your drink you had another one instantly! The staff are very hardworking people. My husband scuba dives and highly recommends Ocean Tours (Scubadu) which is located right at the resort. They had small, 8 passenger boats that were very fast which made the trip to the reefs very quick. The divemasters were very friendly and knowledgable. My girls loved the resort also. Lots of activities, snorkeling, swimming, pool volleyball! The beach is not so great since the hurricane hit, but they were working on it when we left. There is a nice beach though just north of the resort, past the Melia Hotel. Went downtown one night to see the mardi gras parade, which was fun. Locals seemed very friendly, never felt uneasy. One tip, when you fly into the Cozumel Airport, do NOT take the shuttle buses directly from the airport, walk out to the road and take a taxi. Much cheaper. We paid almost $30 ($7 a person) for a shuttle when a taxi would've been only $12 TOTAL (there are four of us). They don't allow the taxis to pick up passengers directly at the airport, you have to walk just a very short distance to the road. We were so sad when our week was over. Can't wait to go back again. Those nice warm, carribean breezes were heaven! :) | ||
| we stayed at the el coz july 2004, we missed it last year in July 2005 due to hurricane emily, but guess what it is 0250 march 4, 2006 and I will be leaving for Cozumel on March 6, 2006 to go & celebrate Martha Moore's 40th birthday on the beach it will be a girls trip & we couldn't be more excited, we have stayed at the El Coz before & it was the best the beach & the water is just fantastic along with the hotel, I can't wait we are on the countdown. I would recommed this hotel to anyone Cozumel is the best see you there march 6-March 10. | ||
| Just got back 3/3/06. Hotel was awesome!!! No problems. Some hotels are beyond repair, but El Cozumeleno is up and running fine. Had soem minor storms blow in the last night there. The next day the hotel looked brand new and completly unaffected. Staff was great and the hotel in beautiful. I can't wait to go back. | ||
| Spent the the week of February 22 to March 1 at El Coz. We were a party of 21 and had a great time. The service was fantastic. The resort was in great shape. The kids club was great for the kids and the activities for the adults were also fun. Drinks were flowing and the food was good. The theme nights were fun. Would go back in a heart beat! | ||
| We have stayed at El Coz 2 times with our two daughters and they can't wait to go back this July. I can tell you we were there during Hurricane Emily and were not able to get off the island. The staff was wonderful and the shelter (the ballroom) is great, I would never be afraid of being there as long as I am at the El Coz. | ||
| We were at the El Coz from Feb 18-25 & loved it. The staff was so fantastic and everything was so wonderful - we will never forget it.... | ||
| We stayed at El Coz Feb 18-25 and had the best vacation ever. The staff was outstanding. The food was good. The kids club is great. Atl is awesome. She is so great with the kids and does a fabulous job with the shows. We can't wait to go back. I would recommend this paradise to everyone; singles, families, honeymooners. There is something for everyone. | ||
| WE RETURNED HOME ON THE 24TH OF FEB AND EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL AT THE RESORT. RENOVATIONS HAVE TURNED OUT GREAT. GOING BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE | ||
| Thought I would write a quick note about our trip to Cozumel. A group of six of us from Minnesota arrived at The El Cozumeleno on February 9th and left on February 16th. We all had been to Cozumel previously via a cruise and all loved it, so we decided to spend our entire vacation in Cozumel. I could not have been happier with everything at El Cozumeleno. The staff was not only friendly and courteous, but also fun and generated crowd participation during activities. The entire resort was VERY clean; from rooms to pool area to lobby and dining area. We always saw someone cleaning. It was very obvious that the staff took pride in the El Cozumeleno. The outdoor restaurant had not opened when we left, but appeared to be very close to completion. I can’t say enough about The El Coz and the staff. We had an awesome time and can’t wait to return. | ||
| Just got home on the 25th from El Cozumeleno. Hotel was fabulous. Service was wonderful as was the food. Would go back tomorrow if I had the chance! | ||
| We just got back from a week at the El Cozumleno. The resort was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the weather was perfect! Our oceanview room was on the 6th floor. The view was breathless. There is still some lasting damage in Cozumel from the hurricane but you wouldn't know it at the resort...everything is top-notch! We highly recommend this resort. If you are going anytime soon, tell Santiago (pool bar bartender) we say HI. | ||
| My husband and I stayed at El Coz. in Dec. '04 for our honeymoon. It was a beautiful resort. The one day it rained, it was chilly so my one request is that the pool be slightly heated. One other thing was the hot tubs. They were both cold. Other than that, everything was wonderful. We will definately be coming back for our 2nd anniversary. | ||
| We are planning a return trip to ElCozumeleno Restort. We were there last May and loved it. The hotel and staff were Wonderful. We are sure that because of the storm that things will not be quite the same...However ...we also know that it will be a wonderful trip inspite of the damange...We hope that everyone will Come Back just like we are going to do. If anyone out there has been since they re-opened please write and let us know what the conditions really are. We know not to listen to the news ....for this kind of info. Thanks the Brookmans | ||

| My family and I will be arriving Monday, March 20, 2006. We've booked an all-inclusive oceanview room for 5 days. Is it possible to request a corner room on one of the upper floors? My kids (ages 15 and 13) are very excited and the feedback I've read on the internet about your resort is tremendously positive. Thanks. Kelly Hedlund Hays, Kansas, USA | ||

| We visited last March, friends were married at ElCoz and is was the greatest. We had the best time. We stayed on the 9th floor overlooking the pool with the swim up bar. The view was the best and the rooms were plenty big enough. The only minor problem we had was the water pressure in the shower, everything else was wonderful and we are looking forward to returning in the near future. This time we are bringing our 12yr old Daughter with us, the kids club looked awesome. | ||

| I was just wondering if anyone could tell me if the resort is all back together. We are coming out there in March for our 10th anniversary and have heard that things might not all be up and running. This is our first trip to Mexico so we want it to be a great trip. | ||

| This is a great hotel for families. Me, my husband, and my 5 year old son are going back this summer because we all fell in love with the resort last summer. Only good things to say about this hotel! | ||

| I Love this resort. I stayed at the el coz in March 2005 and am going back in March 2006. The staff is amazing! I have read one review that said that the staff is rude. Not True! The only rude people at the resort are some of the guests. This place is paradise! | ||

| I have been to the El Cozumeleno twice. Both times were wonderful. The staff is so great. I am coming back in July 06 for my third visit and am bringing friends to experience the amazing hospitality and friendliness that El Coz exudes every time I go. See ya in July! | ||

| My husband and I stayed at El Coz in Sept. 2005. It was the first time that I returned from a vacation and jumped on the internet, calculated available vacation time, to try desperately to return to paradise. The staff is up at sunrise cleaning. Everyone was so helpful from the moment we stepped on the property. If a great view is important to you, this is the place to stay. | ||

| Brad and I stayed at the ElCoz on our honeymoon. We were there the end of Aug. 05 and we really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. They have a very curtious staff and overall, we really enjoyed our time in Cozumel. The next time we go though, we will take more money because you never know what kind of awesome souveniers you will find. We look forward to go back. I definately recommend going to Cozumel. | ||

| My wife and I will be returning in February 2006 for our fifth visit to El Cozumeleno and our 112th to the Island. It is great that the Island and it's great people are rebounding. The people of Cozumel could teach the people of the gulf states in the US a thing or two. The progress of recovery was truely amazing. See you all soon. | ||

| This was my first trip to Mexico and can I say it was amazing. The COZ staff was awesome, we got treated extremely well. There was about 25 of us, adults and kids, we paid extra to have all our rooms together. When we checked in it was not that way for some of us. So the hotel manager, showed us there "house" and offered it to us to stay in. THe "house" is the presidential suite, and we got treated like royalty. It is the house that sits on the very top of the hotel. We had out own hot tub, sun deck and huge patio. The house had a kitchen, formal dining area and slept about 10 of us very comfortably. I had a blast. I know that we were lucky to get it, but they did not have to offer it to us in the first place but the manager was extremely nice and wanted us happy. I would in a heart beat recommend the hotel to anyone going to Cozumel. I never worried about my child and had plenty to do. The Karoke bar was the best. We had plenty of fun in there. I can't wait to go back! | ||
