Hurricane DEAN Bulletin
Dear Customers and Friends:
We are very thankful and happy to announce that Cozumel is safe and sound!
Early Tuesday August 21st hurricane “DEAN” center landfall around 130 miles south of Cozumel and did not impact the Island directly; After going around the Island several times, authorities declared there are not wires down, no floods at all and all services are working normally… the only damage report was that a small part of the old road at the east side of the Island washed out.
About “El Cozumeleño Beach Resort” the property is in excellent conditions, beach is fine, swimming pools and Jacuzzis fully operational, all the “Palapas” untouched, no damage or broken glasses in all of the buildings
All the facilities including restaurants and bars working one hundred percent.
